The posting

Our client, an innovative brand offering fashionable beauty products, stylish accessories, quality lifestyle items and fun stationery and toys, is looking for a motivated and results-driven Store Manager to lead our fashion retail store. The Store Manager will be responsible for driving sales performance, delivering an exceptional customer experience, managing store operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and leading and developing the store team.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Commercial Performance

  • Take full responsibility for achieving and exceeding store sales targets.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and take corrective action where required.
  • Drive the team to achieve individual and store sales targets.
  • Monitor key store KPIs and use performance insights to improve results.
  • Maintain strong commercial awareness of sales, margins, stock performance, and profitability.
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales, customer engagement, and store performance.

Customer Service

  • Ensure consistently high standards of customer service and customer engagement.
  • Lead by example in creating a welcoming and positive shopping experience.
  • Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally and effectively.
  • Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Set clear expectations and ensure team members understand their responsibilities and targets.
  • Monitor individual and team performance and provide regular feedback.
  • Create a positive, energetic, and performance-driven team environment.
  • Manage staff attendance, punctuality, discipline, and adherence to company standards.

Store & Stock Management

  • Take ownership of the day-to-day operation and overall performance of the store Maintain high standards of inventory accuracy and stock availability.
  • Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational standards are consistently followed.
  • Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
  • Ensure the store operates efficiently and professionally at all times.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Ensure stock is properly organized and maintained in the stockroom and on the shop floor.

Reporting & Administration

  • Ensure accurate completion of required store reports and documentation.
  • Use POS and retail management systems effectively.
  • Ensure cash handling and other administrative procedures are followed correctly.
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with company requirements.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or Operations Management
  • Experience: 2–3 years of experience in fashion retail, preferably in a similar Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager role.
  • Self-Motivated, Proactive & Energetic: Takes ownership, demonstrates initiative, and works with a positive and energetic attitude.
  • Sales-Oriented: Strong focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Customer-Focused: Good understanding of customer service, customer engagement, and relationship building.
  • Goal-Oriented: Ability to set priorities and achieve goals within agreed deadlines.
  • Commercial Awareness: Good understanding of sales, margins, stock management, profitability, and store KPIs.
  • Computer Skills: Comfortable working with POS/retail systems, Microsoft Office, and basic reporting tools.
  • Visual Merchandising: Basic understanding of VM standards and ability to ensure proper implementation on the shop floor.
