The posting

Here at Mindera, we are building a world-class team and would love for you to join us. As a Senior Technical Product Owner (Tech PO) with a strong technical background, you will use your experience with Agile methodologies and your deep understanding of the SDLC to lead an ambitious, fast-paced team building the necessary AI tools to drive the company's business growth.

We are looking for Tech PO who deeply understands how this modern AI technology works under the hood. Working closely with both development and business stakeholders, you will act as a crucial bridge between our engineers and the business domain. You will manage complex cross-stream dependencies, guarantee constant progress and alignment throughout the product lifecycle, and seamlessly translate requirements between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This role requires 2 days a week onsite in central London.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of enterprise experience supporting Agile development teams .
  • Proven track record of management skills in areas such as conflict resolution, multi-reporting, roadmap planning and backlog management.
  • A software engineering background with the ability to comfortably speak in technical jargon and confidently navigate discussions around modern AI architectures, LLMs, API integrations, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
  • You thrive in a dynamic environment where workstream milestones are short and priority scopes can change.
  • Proven ability to analyse product use cases and requirements from all points of the SDLC, including the architecture, development, testing, and deployment phases (Note: you will not be required to provide architectural or coding solutions, but you must be comfortable participating in discussions about these topics and influencing and providing input from a business and client requirements standpoint).
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, translating complex technical concepts for non-technical people, and business value for technical teams.
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams.
  • Experience with international projects and remote teams across multiple locations.
  • Experience managing complex technical and delivery dependencies between multiple internal engineering streams and external company teams.

What you will be doing:

  • Mentor the team as an Agile advocate and continuous improvement processes to help them navigate fast-changing priorities.
  • Own and supervise the product backlog, story writing, project roadmap and dependencies across multiple active engineering streams with frequently changing scopes.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are up to date on the team's progress and deliverables status by maintaining an open and honest communications.
  • Provide clear reports with different specifications for different audiences.
  • Leverage your prior technical/coding experience to triage development and QA tickets based on business and customer priorities.
  • Oversee the technical integration points between different AI initiatives and coordinate effectively with external domain teams.
  • Translate the product features into well-defined product requirements including features, epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Work with development teams, software architects and business stakeholders to collaborate, set and communicate release schedules, dates and scope.
  • Ensuring your team’s delivery against the agreed plan.
  • Influencing the product vision definition and breaking it into smaller and incremental deliverables.
