We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Technical Leader to lead engineering initiatives, drive technical excellence, and build scalable, reliable technology solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on technical expertise with engineering leadership, team management, and a deep understanding of DevOps, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, automation, and software engineering best practices.

This role is suited for an experienced Engineering Manager / Technical Lead who can work closely with engineering teams, product stakeholders, and business leadership to translate requirements into robust technical solutions while ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, DevOps engineers, and technical professionals, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Take ownership of the technical direction, architecture, development, deployment, and maintenance of critical applications and platforms.
  • Act as a hands-on Technical Lead, providing guidance on system design, coding standards, architecture, scalability, performance, and security.
  • Manage engineering projects from planning and design through development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Define and implement effective DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, monitoring, logging, release management, and deployment strategies.
  • Collaborate with Product, QA, Operations, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive engineering best practices around code reviews, automated testing, version control, documentation, observability, and incident management.
  • Identify technical risks, performance bottlenecks, and scalability challenges and proactively develop solutions.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, mentoring, performance management, and career development of engineering team members.
  • Establish engineering standards and processes that improve productivity, reliability, quality, and delivery velocity.
  • Evaluate new technologies and tools and recommend solutions that can improve system architecture, development workflows, and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in production troubleshooting and lead root-cause analysis for critical technical issues.

Must-Have Skills

  • Engineering Manager experience with strong people and technical leadership capabilities.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Lead managing complex software engineering initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, automation, deployment, and infrastructure management.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, APIs, databases, and scalable application design.
  • Hands-on experience with tools and technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab CI, or equivalent.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance hands-on technical contribution with team leadership and project ownership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Familiarity with observability, monitoring, logging, and cloud security practices.
  • Experience managing cross-functional technical projects and distributed engineering teams.
