Job Purpose: Responsible for managing end-to-end flight ticketing activities, including flight reservations, ticket issuance, amendments, cancellations, refunds, and coordination with employees, travel agencies, and airlines. The role ensures that all flight arrangements are handled efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with the company’s travel policy
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities Manage flight booking requests for employees and business travelers.
- Search and compare available flight options based on schedule, fare, baggage allowance, flexibility, and company travel policy. Issue, reissue, amend, and cancel flight tickets.
- Handle urgent and last-minute travel requests and provide suitable alternatives.
- Coordinate with travel agencies and airlines regarding bookings, ticket changes, refunds, and schedule changes.
- Verify passenger information, travel dates, destinations, and ticket conditions before issuance.
- Ensure bookings are aligned with approved travel requests and company authorization procedures.
- Monitor ticket prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Provide refundable and non-refundable flight options when applicable.
- Manage flight disruptions, cancellations, delays, and rebooking requirements.
- Follow up on unused tickets, credits, refunds, and airline vouchers.
- Maintain accurate records of all flight bookings and related costs.
- Prepare regular travel reports, including ticket volume, destinations, costs, cancellations, and savings.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s travel policy and applicable airline rules.
- Support employees with travel-related inquiries and provide guidance on flight options and ticket conditions.
- Coordinate with Finance regarding ticket invoices, payments, refunds, and cost allocation.
- Maintain strong relationships with travel agencies and airline representatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in corporate travel, airline ticketing, or travel agency operations.
- Strong knowledge of airline reservation and ticketing processes.
- Experience with GDS systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo is preferred.
- Good understanding of fare rules, baggage allowances, ticket restrictions, refunds, and rebooking conditions.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple travel requests simultaneously. Good English communication skills.
- Strong Excel and reporting skills.
- Customer-service-oriented approach.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Flight booking turnaround time.
- Compliance with travel policy. Ticketing accuracy. Cost savings achieved. Percentage of unused tickets successfully recovered.
- Refund and credit recovery rate.

- Accuracy of travel reports and cost tracking.
- Experience Level 2–5 years of experience in corporate travel, airline ticketing, or travel agency operations, preferably with experience supporting business travelers and international travel.
