As US HR Director, you will act as a trusted partner to business leaders, helping align people practices with company goals while supporting a consistent employee experience and strong operational execution across the US organization.
Responsibilities
- Partner with US leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and people decisions.
- Lead and develop the US HR team.
- Manage employee relations matters, investigations, and documentation in alignment with global standards.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, including Rhode Island, Idaho, and other applicable states.
- Oversee benefits administration and the PEO relationship with Justworks, including annual renewals.
- Provide accurate HR input to payroll.
- Manage recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding through Workable.
- Responsible for HR processes in the US, including performance management, compensation reviews, and policies.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- 8+ years of progressive HR generalist or HR business partner experience, including at least 3 years leading HR for a multi-site organization.
- Experience working within an international or matrixed company environment.
- Strong knowledge of US employment law, including multi-state HR experience.
- Experience handling sensitive employee relations matters in partnership with managers and site leaders.
- Experience partnering with US site leaders and supporting organizational change management.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Ability to work 4 days per week on-site (Lincoln, RI)
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
