pubGENIUS is a cutting-edge React.js + Next.js agency and Ad Tech startup that develops innovative digital products for clients across the US and Europe. We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer who is passionate about creating exceptional user experiences that solve real-world problems.

At pubGENIUS, we believe design is more than just aesthetics. It's about understanding user needs, challenging assumptions and creating digital solutions that are intuitive, effective and delightful. We are looking for a designer who embraces this philosophy — someone who starts with user research, thinks critically and ensures every design decision is grounded in solving a genuine user problem.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in UX/UI design
  • Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work for web and mobile applications
  • Deep understanding of user-centred design methodologies, interaction design principles and visual design fundamentals
  • Proficiency in Figma, including experience with design systems and component libraries
  • Proven ability to conduct user research and translate findings into actionable design

  • Confidence in challenging assumptions and advocating for user-focused design solutions
  • Familiarity with AI tools and their application in the design process
  • Strong ability to work independently, manage time effectively and communicate asynchronously

  • Experience collaborating with geographically distributed, multicultural teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a digital software agency or software development company
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS) to effectively collaborate with developers
  • Familiarity with prototyping and usability testing tools
  • Domain expertise in fintech, Ad Tech, iGaming, healthcare or e-commerce
  • Experience using AI-assisted design tools like Cursor or Claude Code for prototyping and building interactive concepts

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end design process across multiple client projects, from initial discovery and wireframing through to final high-fidelity interfaces
  • Conduct comprehensive user research, including usability testing, interviews and data analysis, to understand user requirements and validate design decisions
  • Translate complex business requirements into intuitive design solutions, creating wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs in Figma
  • Design responsive, accessible and technically feasible interfaces that adhere to best practices, design principles and WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)
  • Develop and maintain design systems and component libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, developers and QA teams throughout the design and development process
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance your workflow, explore design alternatives, prototype concepts and improve overall output quality
  • Present and defend design decisions to clients and stakeholders, advocating for user-centric solutions
  • Continuously test, learn and iterate designs based on user feedback and data-driven insights
