Role Summary

The Business Support Officer will work closely with the Managing Director to provide high‑level business, commercial, and operational support within an Engineering and Procurement environment. • Assist in preparing and updating company profiles, capability statements, technical proposals and commercial offers for engineering and procurement projects.
  • Conduct basic research on projects, clients, competitors and OEM technologies to support bid strategy and presentations.
  • Maintain a structured digital filing system for all business documents (tenders, contracts, OEM agreements, certifications, approvals).
  • Track tender pipeline and OEM opportunities using Excel/CRM or other digital tools and prepare periodic status reports for the MD.
  • Provide general business support as required, including correspondence, minutes of meetings, and follow‑up with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • 2–5 years' experience in business support, bid/tender support, sales support, or project coordination, preferably in Engineering, EPC, Oil & Gas services, or Technical Procurement/IT.
  • Smart, analytical, and tech‑savvy with strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to work with online portals and collaboration tools.
  • Ability to quickly understand engineering/technology concepts from OEMs and present them clearly in proposals and documents.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
