The posting

WEC está construyendo módulos SaaS para uno de sus proyectos : Magic Link, scheduling, usage tracking, session tracking, tenant/company codes, APIs, integraciones y servicios backend.

Buscamos un backend engineer con experiencia práctica en Python, APIs, bases de datos, Docker, despliegue, logs y producción. No buscamos únicamente alguien que haga endpoints básicos; necesitamos una persona que pueda construir servicios mantenibles, seguros y documentados.

Condiciones

  • Compañía colombiana: World Engineering Corp S.A.S.
  • Contrato por prestación de servicios.
  • Pago mensual en COP.
  • Trabajo remoto, con reuniones de coordinación.
  • Trabajo por hitos y entregables.
  • Coordinación técnica.

Lo que hará

  • Construir y mantener servicios backend.
  • Crear endpoints seguros y documentados.
  • Apoyar Magic Link, validación de company codes, scheduling y session tracking.
  • Diseñar estructuras de datos y validaciones.
  • Implementar logs, manejo de errores y pruebas.
  • Trabajar con Docker, despliegues y pipelines.
  • Apoyar integraciones con AWS, servicios externos y frontend.
  • Documentar APIs, variables de entorno y decisiones técnicas.

Requisitos mínimos

  • Python profesional.
  • FastAPI, Flask, Django o frameworks equivalentes.
  • REST APIs.
  • SQL / MySQL / PostgreSQL.
  • Docker.
  • Git / GitHub.
  • Manejo de autenticación, tokens, roles o permisos.
  • Experiencia con logs, debugging y errores en producción.
  • Conocimiento de cloud o despliegues.
  • Capacidad de documentar en inglés cuando sea necesario.

Deseable

  • Redis, queues, jobs o background processing.
  • AWS EC2 / S3 / CloudFront.
  • CI/CD.
  • Integraciones con OpenAI API.
  • Experiencia en SaaS multi-tenant.
  • Observabilidad básica: métricas, dashboards, alertas.
