The posting

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING:

1. You must have exceptional performance in fast-paced, high-impact environments (e.g. startups, building from scratch, shipping under pressure). Ideal candidates come from VC-funded startups, AI/ML tooling & HR Tech.

2. You can be located anywhere in the world as long as you have German citizenship. Visa sponsorship to US is E2 for anyone with a German passport. They would generally qualify for the visa, very straight-forward process.

Other visa sponsorship categories:

O1: for anyone with an exceptional background. They would need to be published / a founder or similar to qualify. TN: for Canadian citizens. *Visa transfers: e.g., for prev. H1b holders * Happy to employ people who hold Stem OPT / F1 visa

3. Relocation to San Francisco and willingness to live in a hacker-house setup are non-negotiable.

  • Location: San Francisco, USA
  • Remote/Hybrid/On-Site Policy: On-site; up to ~18 remote days per year; relocation & visa sponsorship offered
  • Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Language Requirement: English C2
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Technical Skills Required: Full Stack Development, React.JS, TypeScript, Next.js, Supabase, Prism (ORM)
  • Industry: AI Recruiting / HR Tech
  • Positions Available: 1

Company Mission

They are working on building the leading AI talent agent that is providing candidates to a strong access to job opportunities with leading startups in the US.

Core Values

  • They ship fast
  • They work hard and have fun on the journey
  • They are thinking and building their product talent-first

Tasks

You'll take ownership of one or more of these systems as they scale:

  • Candidate Data Infrastructure - "Senior SWE" and "Sr. Software Engineer" are the same thing, but keyword search doesn't know that. Build the pipeline that parses resumes, pulls from LinkedIn and GitHub, uses LLMs to extract real skills and seniority, and handles 10K+ outbound messages a day without landing in spam.
  • Agentic Conversation System - Build the agents that text candidates, answer their questions about comp and role details, handle objections, and book calls. Without sounding like a bot or getting facts wrong.
  • Real-Time Matching Engine - Our AI agent needs to find "React engineer, 3-5 years, SF" and return the right people in under 100ms. Knowing that "React.js" and "ReactJS" are the same, and that 4 years at Google means something different than 4 years at a seed startup.

Requirements

They're not checking boxes. They want someone who's done hard things and can show their work.

  • You've shipped production systems that handle real scale. User load, data volume, or complexity that breaks naive approaches.
  • You're comfortable across the stack. Build a React component in the morning, debug a database query in the afternoon.
  • You've worked with LLMs beyond basic prompting. Embeddings, RAG, agent architectures, or similar.
  • You make decisions with incomplete information. Ship, learn, iterate. Don't wait for perfect specs.
  • You've built something from scratch. Side project, startup, internal tool. Something you owned end-to-end.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary + meaningful equity
  • Visa sponsorship available
  • Health insurance
  • Learning & development budget
  • San Francisco base with flexible setup

Why Work With Them

  • Be the company's 1st non-founder engineer and architect AI agents changing how 40 K+ talents land startup jobs.
  • Own green-field systems, ship daily, and receive founding-level equity in a pre-seed startup backed by top investors.
  • Relocate to San Francisco with visa support, live & build alongside the founders in a true hacker-house culture.
  • This is your ticket to Silicon Valley.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
