The role will support technicians, riggers, field teams, supervisors, operational, corporate and other technical/non-technical employees.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular TNA and Skill Assessment Drives across departments, projects, sites and labour camps to identify competency, technical, behavioral, safety and development gaps.
  • Develop and implement prioritized training and employee development plans aligned with organizational objectives and identified skill gaps.
  • Develop and maintain annual, quarterly and monthly training calendars, covering customized, standard, mandatory and refresher programs.
  • Observe employees on the job to assess competencies, identify performance gaps and determine practical training interventions.
  • Design, develop and personally deliver customized in-house and online training programs for different employee groups.
  • Understand technical/frontline roles, including technicians, riggers and field personnel, and deliver or facilitate relevant technical and operational training.
  • Deliver training covering technical awareness, SOPs, operational processes, workplace practices, soft skills, customer service, communication, compliance and other business requirements.
  • Coordinate trainers, SMEs, venues, online platforms, training materials, vendors and participant schedules to ensure timely and effective delivery with minimal operational disruption.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, external training providers, vendors and certification bodies to ensure training quality and relevance.
  • Conduct and manage new-hire orientation, induction and policy-awareness programs to support effective onboarding.
  • Conduct pre/post-training assessments and evaluate effectiveness through feedback, participation, knowledge retention, field observations, performance improvement and operational KPIs.
  • Conduct follow-up workplace observations and arrange refresher, corrective or development training based on results.
  • Prepare training dashboards, management reports and presentations, analyze outcomes and recommend appropriate follow-up and employee-development initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate training records, attendance, assessments, certifications, completion records and related documentation.
  • Monitor training budgets, resources, costs and utilization to ensure cost-effective delivery.
  • Continuously improve training content and methodologies while supporting employee development plans, competency development and career progression tools.
  • Lead Community Development & Welfare Training Initiatives, including planning and delivery of free vocational, professional and employability-focused programs aimed at developing skills, promoting self-reliance and improving employment opportunities.
  • Promote a continuous-learning, safety-conscious and performance-driven culture across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Management, Education, Engineering or a related discipline; Master's is an advantage.
  • Ideally 5–8 years' experience in Training & Development, L&D, Technical Training, Employee Development or a related function.
  • Proven hands-on experience in TNA, skill assessments, training planning, customized program design, personal training delivery and effectiveness evaluation.
  • Ability to understand and train technical/frontline workforces, particularly technicians, riggers and field teams.
  • Exposure to telecom, technical services, engineering, construction, infrastructure, managed services, manpower outsourcing, facilities or other field-intensive industries is strongly preferred.
  • Strong in-person and online facilitation, presentation and public-speaking skills, engaging frontline through management-level audiences.
  • Experience in employee development, onboarding/orientation and competency development is preferred.
  • Experience supporting vocational, community-development, welfare or employability training initiatives is advantageous.
  • Hindi is mandatory, with strong English communication skills; Arabic or other languages are advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and management-reporting capability, including Excel and PowerPoint; LMS/digital learning experience is advantageous.
  • Strong planning, organization, communication, stakeholder and vendor-management skills.
  • Must be energetic, highly mobile, proactive and results-oriented, and comfortable spending significant time at project sites and labour camps.
  • Able to independently manage the complete training lifecycle across multiple employee groups and locations.
  • Candidates currently based in UAE or India are acceptable.
  • Willing to travel regularly across project sites, labour camps and operational locations throughout the UAE.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
