Position: RAN Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled RAN Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Radio Access Network (RAN) infrastructure. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement RAN solutions for our clients, ensuring high quality and reliability
  • Perform site surveys and analysis to determine the best placement for RAN equipment
  • Configure and optimize RAN equipment to meet performance and capacity requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any RAN-related issues, including network outages and performance degradation
  • Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure the RAN infrastructure is up-to-date and functioning efficiently
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new RAN features and services
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in RAN technology and make recommendations for improvements
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide solutions accordingly

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in RAN engineering, preferably in the telecommunications industry
  • Strong understanding of RAN technologies, including LTE, 5G, and small cells
  • Experience with RAN equipment from major vendors, such as Nokia, Ericsson, and Huawei
  • Proficient in using network monitoring and diagnostic tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel if required
