The posting

Role Purpose The Business Development Performance & Strategy Specialist supports the Business Development team with commercial analysis, performance analysis and follow-up, operational processes and strategic project support and coordination. The role works closely with the entire Business Development team and collaborates with Finance, Sales, Aftersales and other internal functions, as well as XPENG's partner network. A key part of the role is to support the efficient management of partner commission processes and provide structured insights into partner profitability and commercial performance. The role also supports the execution of the Business Development strategy and promotes the use of AI and automation to improve processes, reporting and efficiency across the team. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Commercial Performance - Support the Business Development team with analysis, reporting and decision-making material - Monitor and analyse partner profitability, commercial performance and relevant KPIs - Develop reports and dashboards for management and the Business Development team - Identify trends, deviations, risks and improvement opportunities - Translate data into clear insights and recommendations - Support business cases related to network development and commercial initiatives - Support partner meetings, business reviews and other Business Development activities Commission Management & Operational Control - Support and coordinate monthly and quarterly partner commission calculations - Perform initial validation of data and KPI performance related to commission settlements - Prepare commission documentation for review and approval - Coordinate the process with Finance and relevant internal stakeholders - Support accurate documentation, transparency and timely processing - Support the development and automation of commission processes as the network grows Strategy & Project Coordination - Support the development and execution of XPENG Norway's Business Development strategy - Support and coordinate selected Business Development projects and strategic initiatives - Maintain project plans and follow up milestones, responsibilities and deadlines - Support cross-functional coordination where required - Follow up agreed actions and contribute to turning plans into concrete activities AI & Process Improvement - Identify opportunities to use AI and automation within Business Development - Support improvements to processes related to analysis, reporting, data management and recurring operational tasks - Test and implement relevant AI tools and workflows - Explore new ways of using technology to improve quality and efficiency - Support increased AI capabilities and smarter ways of working across the Business Development team Key Qualifications & Competencies - Relevant higher education within business, finance, economics, analytics or similar - Preferably 1–4 years of relevant professional experience - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data - Practical knowledge of and strong interest in AI and automation - Ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations - Curious, structured and eager to learn - Proactive and able to manage multiple priorities - Strong collaboration and communication skills - Fluent in Norwegian and English Key Interfaces Internal: Business Development, Finance, Sales, Aftersales and Management External: XPENG Agents, partners and relevant suppliers Success in the Role Success in the role will be demonstrated through: - High-quality and timely support of the commission process - Improved visibility of partner profitability and commercial performance - High-quality analysis and decision support - Strong coordination and follow-up of strategic initiatives and projects - Increased efficiency through process improvement, AI and automation - Reliable follow-up and delivery of assigned responsibilities - Strong collaboration and support across the Business Development team
