The posting

York is seeking an HR Coordinator to provide comprehensive support to the People Operations and Talent Acquisition teams. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate HRIS data, managing employee files, handling confidential information with discretion, and delivering reliable administrative and operational support. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS; support routine reporting, data integrity checks, and audits. Manage sensitive employee information and documentation with strict confidentiality. Maintain organized and compliant employee file systems. Support the onboarding process which may include scheduling new joiners, I-9 verification, adjudicating background checks, and preparation of materials. Supplemental support for Talent Acquisition activities by posting jobs, scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate logistics, and preparing offer materials. Monitor incoming HR inquiries and route them to the appropriate team member for follow-up and resolution. Contribute to HR process improvements and projects that enhance operational efficiency and employee experience. Deliver responsive, service-oriented support to employees, managers, and candidates. Maintain an on-site presence Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM) to ensure consistent team and client support.

Qualifications

5+ years of administrative experience in a professional environment. 2+ years of Human Resources experience. 1+ year of HRIS or ATS experience. Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion. Exceptional attention to detail and high degree of accuracy. Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office/365 and an aptitude for learning new systems quickly. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High school diploma or GED.
