The posting

Does it excite you to work with shaping the equity story of a peptide-based biotech company and strengthening relationships with investors and analysts across Europe, and do you have experience with investor relations and corporate communications in biotech or pharma? If this sounds like you, and you are ready to take on a broad area of responsibilities, then you could be our new colleague.

Your new position

As Director of Investor Relations, you will be a key voice of the company towards the global investment community, working closely with the Vice President, Head of Investor Relations. A central focus of the position is to enhance and grow relationships with analysts and investors in Europe. You will translate complex science, clinical progress, and strategy into a clear and credible narrative for shareholders, prospective investors, analysts, and the broader financial community. The position combines strategic communication, close collaboration with senior leadership, and direct exposure to the capital markets at an exciting stage of the company’s development.

We offer exciting responsibilities:

  • Strengthen and expand relationships with European institutional investors, sell-side analysts, and other capital market stakeholders, serving as a primary point of contact for investor inquiries
  • Support the development and execution of the investor relations strategy and equity story in close alignment with the Head of Investor Relations, senior leadership, and the company’s financial and strategic goals
  • Work together with IR Coordinator to plan and lead European roadshows, investor meetings, conferences, and capital markets events, as well as quarterly earnings communications
  • Prepare financial results communications, earnings releases, investor presentations, scripts, Q&A materials, and annual and interim report content
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, investor sentiment, and shareholder composition, particularly in Europe, and provide insights and recommendations to leadership
  • Contribute to corporate communications, including press releases, media relations, and social media content, and safeguard consistent corporate messaging across channels, while ensuring compliance with applicable disclosure and market regulations in collaboration with Legal, Finance, and Corporate Communications

Your profile

You are a credible and confident communicator who builds trust easily with both scientific and financial audiences. You are strategic and analytical, with strong financial acumen and sound judgment when handling sensitive and market-moving information. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects at pace. You are a natural collaborator who works effectively across functions.

  • Significant experience in investor relations, corporate communications, equity research, investment banking, or a related capital markets role, within biotech, pharma, or healthcare
  • Strong understanding of drug development, clinical data, and biotech valuation drivers, as well as in-depth knowledge of financial markets and listed-company disclosure and reporting requirements
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with institutional investors, sell-side analysts, and the media, ideally with an established network in the European investment community
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and industry trends
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership, combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • University degree in finance, economics, communications, business, life sciences, or a related field; an MBA is a plus

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
