Reporting to senior leadership, the Plant Manager will lead multidisciplinary teams across production, maintenance, quality and warehouse operations, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving operational excellence, optimising processes and resources, and supporting the site's growth and long-term development. Working closely with both local and Group stakeholders, they will contribute to the achievement of business objectives while ensuring compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manufacturing leader to make a significant impact within a growing international organisation and help shape the future success of our Anglesola operations.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily plant operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards and customer requirements are achieved.
  • Drive a strong safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards, company policies and legal requirements.
  • Lead, coach and develop production teams, promoting engagement, accountability and high performance.
  • Ensure effective production planning, resource allocation and operational continuity.
  • Collaborate closely with Maintenance to maximise equipment reliability, minimise downtime and improve plant performance.
  • Oversee inventory management, raw material availability and internal material flows to support efficient operations.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering and other business functions to ensure seamless plant performance.
  • Monitor operational KPIs and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, driving efficiency, productivity and cost optimisation through Lean Manufacturing principles and best practices.
  • Support plant budgeting activities, cost control initiatives and capital investment projects (CAPEX).
  • Identify risks and opportunities within operations and develop action plans to improve overall business performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company management systems, procedures and operational standards.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the site's operational strategy and long-term objectives.

What you'll need:

  • Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience leading industrial manufacturing operations, ideally within chemical, materials processing or similar industrial environments.
  • Strong background in production management, process optimisation and operational leadership.
  • Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Good understanding of maintenance management, quality systems and HSE requirements.
  • Experience managing budgets, operational costs and capital investment projects.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and manufacturing performance reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent Spanish and professional-level English.

What were looking for?

We are looking for a hands-on and collaborative leader who can balance strategic thinking with operational execution.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Excellent organisational and decision-making skills.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
  • The ability to influence, engage and develop teams.
  • A results-driven approach with a focus on operational excellence.
  • Resilience and adaptability within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
