Andrew Morgan, LLC is a rapidly growing Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and HUBZone-certified organization. We are seeking a qualified Senior Strategic Advisor, Health System Modernization to support a potential contract award with a government client. This role is contingent upon contract award and will play a critical part in our efforts to deliver exceptional results for this opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as a senior, client-facing advisor to executive leadership, providing guidance on healthcare transformation, enterprise operations, and financial/technology modernization initiatives across a large, complex health system.

Strategic Advisory & Planning

  • Advise executive leadership on complex healthcare transformation and cross-functional strategic priorities
  • Support development of strategic/tactical plans, roadmaps, executive decision materials, and implementation strategies
  • Provide practical recommendations for managing competing priorities and politically sensitive, high-visibility initiatives

Enterprise & Stakeholder Navigation

  • Help leadership navigate complexity across headquarters, regional offices, facilities, and other organizational components
  • Facilitate senior stakeholder discussions across finance, healthcare operations, technology, acquisition, and program management
  • Translate executive priorities into clear messages, actionable workstreams, and governance structures

Financial & EHR Modernization Support

  • Provide senior-level insight during financial systems and EHR-related planning, readiness, and implementation activities
  • Advise on organizational impacts, risks, dependencies, and sequencing tied to financial, acquisition, and EHR initiatives
  • Identify downstream impacts of system/process/policy changes on operations, finances, workforce, and mission delivery

Communications & Quality Review

  • Review and strengthen executive briefings, decision papers, and strategic communications for clarity and defensibility
  • Support communication of policy, strategy, and implementation expectations to diverse stakeholder groups

Team & Business Development

  • Mentor project teams and other subject matter experts with an enterprise healthcare perspective
  • Support growth and business development efforts by articulating credible approaches to large-scale transformation challenges

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Substantial executive-level healthcare experience setting vision, strategy, and priorities for a large, complex organization
  • Strong understanding of large healthcare systems across enterprise, regional/network, and facility levels
  • Track record advising senior executives on complex, sensitive, cross-functional issues
  • Experience overseeing or supporting major financial, acquisition, technology, or EHR initiatives\
  • Strong analytical judgment connecting strategy to operational, financial, workforce, and technology impacts
  • Exceptional written/verbal communication, including executive briefing and facilitation
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, public administration, finance, IS, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Ability to meet applicable personnel suitability/security requirements and complete required privacy/security training

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior leadership within a large federal or military healthcare system
  • Familiarity with regional healthcare network structures, medical center operations, or comparable regional network models
  • Experience with healthcare finance offices or enterprise healthcare resource management
  • Familiarity with large-scale financial system platforms (e.g., ERP/financial management systems) or EHR platforms
  • Working knowledge of managerial cost accounting, resource allocation methodologies, or healthcare cost management
  • Experience leading enterprise change management or organizational readiness programs

SALARY:

Salary is commensurate with both location and experience.

  • Communication/Engagement: Maintain professional conduct in meetings and written communication, participating actively with cameras on.
  • Responsiveness: Stay engaged, communicate promptly, and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
