Systems Administration Manager
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a Systems Administration Manager to lead the strategy, governance, and continuous evolution of enterprise endpoint and workplace services.This role requires a strong background in Systems Administration combined with leadership and stakeholder management. You will act as the technical reference for endpoint management initiatives, driving modernization programs, defining operational standards, and ensuring alignment between technology, security, and business requirements.
What You Will Do on a Daily Basis
- Define and own the strategic roadmap for endpoint management and workplace services.
- Lead enterprise device management initiatives, ensuring alignment with business and security requirements.
- Drive and coordinate endpoint transformation programs, including SCCM to Intune migration projects.
- Establish governance frameworks, operational standards, and best practices for endpoint lifecycle management.
- Oversee device compliance, security baselines, configuration standards, and auditing requirements.
- Review and challenge technical proposals, providing expert guidance on architecture, processes, and service improvements.
- Coordinate internal teams, offshore teams, and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to ensure service excellence.
- Define and monitor service performance through KPIs, SLAs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead service review meetings and engage with senior stakeholders across the organization.
- Promote automation, standardization, and self-service capabilities to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure effective software asset and licensing management, balancing compliance, business needs, and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Architecture teams to support strategic workplace initiatives.
- Define and improve operational processes, governance models, and service delivery frameworks.
Your Key Skills
- Strong technical background in Systems Administration within large enterprise environments.
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot (L3).
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Intune.
- Strong understanding of endpoint management, device lifecycle management, and workplace services.
- Experience leading technical teams, service providers, and offshore resources.
- Ability to provide technical leadership and confidently engage in complex technical discussions.
- Strong process definition, governance, and service management skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing capabilities.
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Ability to bridge technical and business requirements effectively.
Your Main Qualifications
- Proven experience in Systems Administration, Endpoint Management, or Workplace Services within large-scale enterprise environments.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and Conditional Access.
- Demonstrated experience delivering endpoint modernization initiatives and SCCM to Intune migrations.
- Experience defining governance frameworks, policies, and operational processes.
- Previous experience managing or coordinating technical teams and third-party providers.
- Strong knowledge of endpoint security, compliance controls, and device management best practices.
- Experience with ServiceNow and IT Service Management processes is considered an advantage.
- Experience with SCCM administration is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
