In this role, you are expected to take high ownership of the assigned unit and strive to provide the best quality and service to our guests. By following Bastard Burgers' structures, routines, and using our social platform to interact with your colleagues, you contribute to a sense of "we" that can take us anywhere. We will do our best to help you develop, but we also expect your commitment and curiosity, thus creating continuous learning.

Restaurant Manager

We want to work with you who love people and food as much as we do. As a restaurant manager at Bastard Burgers, you are responsible for maintaining a high level of service and ensuring that both guests and employees are satisfied and happy. You lead the team with the right attitude and positive energy. You have experience from previous restaurant or service jobs and understand that there are stressful moments, but that the service/food must always be excellent. You have overall responsibility for scheduling, purchasing, personnel costs, and essentially everything that happens in the restaurant. The work involves a strong focus on operations, kitchen and cash register, with administrative elements where you are expected to take high ownership.

At Bastard Burgers we are hands on - we lead from the front! The role is mostly operational.

Main responsibilities

  • Take ownership over the results and the unit as a whole - in relation to set KPI's
  • Educate and recruit staff
  • Responsible for measuring, evaluating, developing, and reporting the results of their unit
  • Systematically follow up in internal systems
  • Establish safe working conditions and follow the internal systematic work environment work
  • Ensure that food safety is followed in accordance with hygiene regulations
  • Actively work with and implement Bastard Burgers' equal treatment plan and values in their unit

Are we a match? We are looking for you who...

  • Have previous experience from restaurant or service jobs, preferably with staff and budget responsibility
  • You should be able to speak Finnish and English, it is advantageous to master both languages
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Good organizational and leadership skills, where you are structured and responsible
  • Are motivated by and can motivate employees to work towards set goals
  • You preferably have the Finnish hygiene passport and Alcohol passport
