ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a Business Development Representative role (standard or senior level, depending on experience) sitting within the Go-to-Market team of a fast-scaling AI procurement intelligence platform serving the industrial sector in Europe. You will own the front end of the sales process, building qualified pipeline and helping drive revenue for a product that tackles a significant challenge in industrial procurement.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Own the prospecting pipeline end-to-end, identifying and converting new leads via phone, email, and social media.

- Run discovery conversations and build qualified opportunities for the broader sales team.

- Execute and continuously iterate on both outbound and inbound lead generation strategies.

- Conduct independent market research to identify B2B prospects and tailor outreach messaging.

- Develop and maintain persuasive sales materials, call scripts, and outreach templates.

- Deliver internal training sessions and workshops to share best practices with teammates.

- Leverage AI tools and experiments to accelerate prospecting and optimize workflows.

- Contribute to a high-velocity, feedback-driven sales culture with measurable performance targets.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 1 to 2 years of relevant sales experience for the standard level, or 5 or more years for the senior level.

- Hands-on B2B sales experience with meaningful deal sizes and sufficient volume, not just account management of an existing book of business.

- Fluent written and spoken German is required.

- Initial SaaS sales experience and comfort working with modern sales technology.

- Proven ability to own B2B prospecting across phone, email, and social channels and convert activity into qualified opportunities.

- Experience performing in a demanding, startup-like environment with a strong growth mindset.

- Resilience, goal orientation, and a positive attitude toward challenging targets.

- Exposure to the industrial or procurement sector is a plus.

LOCATION

On-site in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
