Position Summary:

This position supports daily planning and coordination for yard operations and is responsible for maintaining accurate operational data, coordinating inbound and outbound schedules, tracking yard inventory, preparing operational reports, and communicating with internal operations teams, customers, carriers, and other logistics partners.

This role supports an active logistics yard operation and requires frequent communication with operations personnel, drivers, carriers, customers, and management. The employee will primarily work in an office environment at the yard but may occasionally need to walk through operational areas to verify inventory or operational conditions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate interested in developing a career in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or yard operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate schedule changes, delays, and operational issues to appropriate teams.
  • Assist with yard capacity planning and space utilization.
  • Update Excel spreadsheets, trackers, and operational reports.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
  • Support coordination between the yard, warehouse, factory, transportation providers, and customer.
  • Identify potential scheduling or capacity issues and communicate them to management.
  • Follow established SOPs and customer requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement of planning and yard processes.
  • Perform other logistics and planning duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Transportation, or a related field preferred.
  • 0–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse, yard, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
  • Previous planning or logistics experience preferred.
  • Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Comfortable working with numbers, schedules, and operational data.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with customers, carriers, drivers, and internal teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
  • Willingness to learn yard and logistics operations.
  • Bilingual in English and Korean required.

The base pay range for this role is between $60,000 - $70,000 per Salary, and your base pay will depend on your experiences, qualifications, and skills.
