Solution Manager - The Orchard

The Solutions Associate Manager (Korea) acts as the primary client-facing operational and administrative liaison between local partners and The Orchard’s global Legal, Finance, Operations and Rights Management teams. Moving away from traditional standalone label support, this role owns the full end-to-end client onboarding, supports digital release logistics, handles financial/administrative escalations, and delivers actionable performance analytics. The ideal candidate is a corss-functional problem solver with a strict “see-it-through” mindset, dedicated to eliminating operational friction, safeguarding royalty flows, and supporting roster growth.

What you'll do:

End-to-End Client Onboarding & Back-Office Integration

• Oversee the complete operational and administrative onboarding lifecycle of new Korean artists and labels, from the account set up to payment readiness, and catalog ingestion, working in close partnership with the Relationship Management Team.
• Guide clients through the onboarding process, conduct platform demonstrations, and ensure seamless system adoption.
• Resolve payment blockers by gathering, verifying, and processing financial/banking documentations in coordination with global Finance and Contract Admin teams.
• Manage administrative catalog transitions, including payee changes (LOD, assignments, entity name changes), payment holds, and client offboarding workflows, as needed

Release Operations & Product Logistics Support

• Autonomously manage complex digital release setups (eg. timed releases), and advanced metadata updates in collaboration with the Relationship Management Team
• Act as the local escalation point for product blocks or copyright/compliance flags, with Content Review Team
• Coordinate with centralized Operations to process catalog adjustments, remaps, takedowns, transfers, and store whitelisting

Domestic Client Support

• Deliver release schedules and metadata updates seamlessly to major domestic DSPs
• Compile, update and optimize master release lists of key local titles, tracking placement updates and providing feedback loops to partners and internal stakeholders.

Data Analytics & Performance Reporting

• Establish and manage a structured data reporting routine across release cycles (Day 1, Daily, Weekly, Monthly) to monitor streaming trends, algorithmic pick-ups, and market performance.
• Analyze listener demographics, geographic consumption spikes, and playlist performance to provide actionable insights for localized commercial and marketing campaigns.
• Utilize internal BI tools (eg. Looker) to monitor monthly client revenue fluctuations, identifying growth opportunities or investigating underlying operational causes behind revenue drops

Cross-Functional Problem Solving & Global Alignment

• Investigate and resolve day-to-day administrative, financial, and operational client inquiries with end-to-end ownership, ensuring a streamlined and positive partner experience.
• Collaborate with Rights Management, Legal and Claims teams to safeguard content integrity (eg. ownership disputes, asset remaps, rights conflicts)
• Maintain internal system fluency (including proprietary back-end applications (eg. Zendesk), and obtain necessary industry certifications/standards.

Who you are:

• Minimum 5+ years of total professional experience in digital operations, client administration, or content distribution (including at least 2+ years of direct experience within music distribution, record label, or digital media platforms sectors)
• A strong advantage in digital media, content, music or platform-based businesses
• Solid understanding of digital supply chain workflows, metadata standards, and streaming platform mechanics. Proficiency with platform tools (eg. Spotify for Artists, iTunes Connect, or YouTube CMS) and proprietary backend content system.
• Proactive problem solver with a strong financial/contractual baseline. Highly advanced organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize under tight deadlines, and maintain a strict “see-it-through” problem-solving mindset.
• Professional fluency in both English and Korean is required (written and spoken).
