Unsere Engineering Community wächst weiter – und wir suchen einen Senior Data Architect (m/f/*) mit Schwerpunkt Databricks, der moderne Data- und AI-Plattformen für führende Unternehmen in Deutschland gestaltet.

In dieser Rolle verantwortest du die Architektur skalierbarer Datenplattformen auf Basis der Databricks Lakehouse Platform. Du arbeitest an anspruchsvollen Cloud-, Data- und AI-Initiativen, berätst Kunden auf strategischer Ebene und begleitest Teams von der Architekturvision bis zur produktiven Umsetzung.

Du wirst nicht nur technische Lösungen entwerfen, sondern als Trusted Advisor auftreten, Architekturstandards definieren und die Weiterentwicklung unserer Data Community aktiv mitgestalten.

  • Architektur moderner Data-, Analytics- und AI-Plattformen auf Basis der Databricks Lakehouse Platform
  • Entwicklung von Zielarchitekturen, Referenzarchitekturen und technischen Roadmaps
  • Beratung von Stakeholdern und Führungskräften zu Architekturstrategien, Plattformmodernisierung und Data Governance
  • Gestaltung skalierbarer Batch-, Streaming- und Real-Time-Data-Lösungen
  • Definition von Standards für Data Quality, Security, Governance und Datenmodellierung
  • Technische Führung und Mentoring von Engineers und Architekt*innen
  • Unterstützung von Kundenworkshops, Presales-Aktivitäten und Angebotsphasen
  • Optimierung von Performance, Skalierbarkeit und Kosten moderner Datenplattformen

WAS WIR SUCHEN

Must-Have

  • Mehrjährige Erfahrung in Data Engineering, Data Architecture oder verwandten Bereichen
  • Nachweisbare Erfahrung mit Databricks in produktiven Enterprise-Umgebungen
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse von Databricks Lakehouse, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog und Apache Spark
  • Erfahrung mit mindestens einer führenden Cloud-Plattform (Azure, AWS oder GCP)
  • Erfahrung mit Datenmodellierung, Data Governance und Security-Konzepten
  • Sehr gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten sowie fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse

Nice-to-Have

  • Erfahrung mit Medallion Architecture, Data Mesh oder modernen Data Platform Strategien
  • Databricks- oder Cloud-Zertifizierungen
  • Kenntnisse in Terraform, Airflow oder Databricks Workflows
  • Erfahrung mit AI-, ML- oder GenAI-Plattformen
  • Erfahrung in der technischen Führung größerer Programme oder Teams
