1. организует текущее и перспективное планирование воспитательной работы (план воспитательной работы школы на год, на четверть, на рабочую неделю; план совета профилактики; участие в разработке плана школьного консилиума); 2. координирует и контролирует деятельность следующих структурных подразделений: - структурное подразделение по воспитательной работе; - психолого-педагогическая служба; - социально-педагогическая служба; - структурное подразделение по спортивно-физкультурной работе; - библиотека / информационно-библиотечный центр; (Приказ Минобрнауки России от 15.06.2016 № 715 Об утверждении Концепции развития школьных информационно-библиотечных центров ) 3. Осуществление работы по профилактике правонарушений и безнадзорности все аспекты направления по работе с категорией трудные (совместно со всей воспитательной службой). 4. организует и контролирует методическую, культурно-массовую, внеклассную работу. 5. осуществляет контроль за качеством образовательного (учебно-воспитательного) процесса, объективностью оценки результатов образовательной деятельности обучающихся, работой кружков и факультативов. 6. организует и контролирует работу по вовлечению обучающихся в общешкольные, муниципальные мероприятия.

Помимо педагогического образование, необходима переподготовка в области менеджмента или управления в образовании. Также необходима справка об отсутсвии судимости.
