The posting

We are sharing a specialised remote consulting opportunity for bilingual Spanish-English Benefits Counselors and Public Service Professionals with experience in government services, public benefits, community assistance, and multilingual client support to contribute their expertise to advanced AI training and evaluation initiatives.

Selected professionals will review public service questions in Spanish and English, develop structured evaluation criteria, and assess AI-generated Spanish responses for accuracy, clarity, completeness, and natural language usage. The work combines practical public assistance experience with bilingual communication, service navigation, and quality evaluation to improve how AI systems assist Spanish-speaking individuals seeking information about government programmes and public services. Prior experience with AI training projects is not required.

Key Responsibilities

Bilingual Public Service Inquiry Review

  • Review sample questions in Spanish and English relating to government services and public assistance
  • Evaluate whether questions reflect realistic situations encountered by Spanish-speaking residents
  • Identify unnatural phrasing, unclear requests, and unrealistic public service scenarios
  • Apply direct counseling experience to assess the relevance and authenticity of service inquiries
  • Recommend improvements to question wording, contextual accuracy, and bilingual communication quality

Government Benefits & Service Guidance Evaluation

  • Apply expertise in at least one relevant service area, including Medicare, passport services, veterans benefits, student loans, financial aid, or National Park services
  • Assess whether public service guidance accurately addresses the individual's stated needs
  • Review the completeness and practical usefulness of information concerning relevant government programmes
  • Identify missing explanations, inaccurate service information, and unclear procedural guidance
  • Evaluate whether proposed next steps are appropriate for the specific public assistance scenario

AI Response Assessment & Spanish Language Quality

  • Evaluate AI-generated responses in Spanish against established accuracy and quality criteria
  • Identify factual errors, omitted information, mistranslations, and misleading explanations
  • Assess whether Spanish-language responses sound natural, professional, and understandable
  • Review terminology and wording for consistency with relevant public service contexts
  • Provide structured feedback on response accuracy, clarity, and practical usefulness

Evaluation Rubrics & Quality Standards

  • Develop detailed evaluation rubrics defining correct and complete answers within relevant areas of expertise
  • Establish criteria covering factual accuracy, service guidance, language quality, and appropriate next steps
  • Apply consistent assessment standards across AI-generated public assistance responses
  • Explain why responses meet or fall short of established evaluation requirements
  • Refine evaluation criteria to improve the reliability and consistency of bilingual AI response assessments

Written Feedback & Asynchronous Collaboration

  • Document evaluation findings, language issues, and recommended corrections in clear written reports
  • Communicate technical and service-related observations accurately in both Spanish and English
  • Provide actionable feedback to support improvements in AI-generated government service guidance
  • Complete assigned review activities independently within an asynchronous project environment
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, organisation, and bilingual written communication throughout assigned deliverables

Ideal Profile

  • Native or professional-level proficiency in both Spanish and English
  • At least 1 year of professional experience counseling or assisting members of the public
  • Experience as a Benefits Counselor, Case Manager, Community Health Worker, Public Service Advisor, or in a comparable client-facing role
  • Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following areas: Medicare, passport services, veterans benefits, student loans or financial aid, or National Park services
  • Strong understanding of the relevant public assistance programmes, service procedures, or benefits information within the candidate's area of expertise
  • Experience answering public inquiries and providing practical assistance to individuals seeking government services
  • Ability to evaluate the factual accuracy and completeness of public service information
  • Excellent written communication skills in Spanish and English, with an emphasis on clarity and precision
  • Strong understanding of natural Spanish-language communication in public assistance settings
  • Ability to identify mistranslations, ambiguous terminology, and culturally or contextually inappropriate wording
  • Experience assisting Spanish-speaking individuals with benefits questions, administrative procedures, or public service navigation
  • Strong analytical reasoning, attention to detail, and structured problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience across multiple government service or public benefits areas is advantageous
  • Professional interpreting or translation experience is highly valued
  • Experience preparing Spanish-language guides, FAQs, informational resources, or training materials is beneficial
  • Familiarity with client counseling, public outreach, and community assistance practices
  • Experience assisting diverse communities, including rural populations and individuals with limited literacy, is advantageous
  • Ability to provide clear, constructive written feedback and apply structured evaluation criteria consistently
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment
  • Must be based in the United States
  • Availability to begin promptly and commit 10–20 hours per week, with additional availability toward the end of the project

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
