We are sharing a specialised remote consulting opportunity for experienced Investment Banking Associates and Analysts with strong expertise in financial modelling, company valuation, transaction execution, capital markets, and financial analysis to contribute their professional knowledge to advanced AI training and evaluation initiatives.

Selected professionals will analyse complex financial materials, evaluate transaction-related documentation, develop realistic investment banking scenarios, and assess AI-generated financial content. The work combines practical investment banking expertise with valuation research, financial modelling, transaction analysis, structured data development, and quality assessment to help improve the accuracy, reasoning, and reliability of AI systems operating across sophisticated financial and investment workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Banking & Transaction Analysis

  • Review and analyse complex investment banking materials, transaction documentation, and financial case studies
  • Evaluate financial and strategic considerations relating to mergers and acquisitions, corporate financing, and capital markets transactions
  • Examine deal structures, transaction processes, valuation assumptions, and relevant commercial considerations
  • Develop realistic investment banking scenarios reflecting practical deal execution and financial advisory activities
  • Apply professional financial judgement to identify material transaction issues, analytical assumptions, and relevant industry practices

Financial Modelling & Valuation Assessment

  • Review, develop, and evaluate financial models supporting company valuation, investment analysis, and transaction assessments
  • Analyse financial statements, operating performance, market information, and underlying valuation assumptions
  • Assess the accuracy and consistency of financial projections, valuation methodologies, and quantitative analyses
  • Evaluate valuation approaches and explain their relevance to different transaction and investment scenarios
  • Provide detailed commentary on financial model quality, analytical reasoning, and the interpretation of complex financial information

Pitchbook Development & Financial Documentation

  • Draft, review, and refine sample investment banking pitchbooks, valuation analyses, and market research summaries
  • Evaluate transaction-related documents for accuracy, completeness, clarity, and professional presentation standards
  • Analyse financial information used in investment presentations, transaction summaries, and strategic advisory materials
  • Identify inconsistencies in financial documentation, analytical assumptions, and supporting transaction information
  • Translate sophisticated investment banking concepts into clear, structured materials suitable for specialised research and evaluation

AI Training & Financial Content Evaluation

  • Develop realistic financial questions, transaction case studies, and analytical scenarios reflecting investment banking practice
  • Review and validate AI-generated financial analyses, valuation assessments, investment explanations, and transaction-related outputs
  • Identify inaccuracies in financial calculations, modelling assumptions, deal terminology, and analytical reasoning
  • Provide detailed written feedback to strengthen the precision, relevance, and professional quality of AI-generated financial content
  • Contribute subject-matter expertise to the development of structured datasets and evaluation materials representing real-world investment banking workflows

Financial Research & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Conduct structured financial research involving market developments, company performance, transaction activity, and industry practices
  • Curate, interpret, and synthesise financial data to support scenario development and analytical exercises
  • Explain nuanced investment banking terminology, documentation standards, and transaction processes
  • Collaborate remotely with project coordinators and multidisciplinary contributors to align deliverables with established quality requirements
  • Produce clear financial analyses, research summaries, documentation assessments, and structured evaluation feedback

Ideal Profile

  • Current or recent professional experience as an Investment Banking Associate at any level, or an Investment Banking Analyst with at least two years of experience
  • Equivalent experience within Sales & Trading or a closely related institutional financial markets role may also be considered
  • Strong expertise in financial modelling, company valuation, transaction analysis, and investment banking deal processes
  • Demonstrated experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, corporate financing, or comparable advisory activities
  • Practical knowledge of financial statement analysis, financial projections, valuation methodologies, and transaction economics
  • Experience preparing, reviewing, or evaluating investment banking pitchbooks, financial models, transaction documents, or market analysis reports
  • Ability to interpret complex financial information and identify relevant analytical assumptions, discrepancies, and commercial considerations
  • Strong understanding of investment banking terminology, transaction structures, and established financial industry practices
  • Familiarity with industry-standard transaction documentation, regulatory considerations, and deal structuring principles
  • Excellent quantitative reasoning, analytical judgement, critical-thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accurate financial analysis and professional documentation standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain sophisticated financial concepts clearly
  • Experience providing detailed, constructive feedback on financial models, investment analyses, or transaction-related materials
  • Ability to manage multiple analytical assignments independently while meeting defined project milestones
  • Comfort collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in remote, technology-supported project environments
  • Familiarity with financial data analysis, AI evaluation, or emerging financial technology applications is advantageous
  • Prior experience with AI training or model evaluation is not required
