The posting

As we continue to strengthen our Engineering function, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will help shape the Bank's technology landscape and build the systems that power our products and services. You will play a key role in technical decisions, architecture evolution and the modernization of the Bank's technology platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, test and maintain the Bank’s software solutions;
  • Build reliable, secure and scalable applications and integrations;
  • Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code;
  • Review code and help maintain high engineering standards;
  • Investigate technical issues and implement long-term solutions;
  • Improve development, testing, deployment and monitoring practices;
  • Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, other engineers and external partners;
  • Participate in planning, estimation and delivery of development initiatives;
  • Share technical knowledge and support the professional growth of other team members.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least 5 years of professional software development experience;
  • Strong proficiency in .NET / C#, ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework;
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns and clean code principles;
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL;
  • Experience with automated testing, version control and CI/CD practices;
  • Experience designing and integrating REST APIs, external systems and microservice-based solutions in the .NET ecosystem;
  • Ability to analyze complex requirements and propose practical technical solutions;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ownership of delivered solutions;
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical and business teams;
  • Good English skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure services such as App Service, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault or Azure SQL;
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools;
  • Knowledge of application security and secure software development practices;
  • Experience with event-driven architecture or messaging technologies;
  • Familiarity with modern .NET observability, logging and monitoring tools;
  • Previous experience in banking, fintech or another regulated industry;
  • Experience working with legacy system modernization or complex system integrations.
