Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and caring Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care to a client in Stanwood, Washington. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping others maintain their independence, dignity, comfort, and quality of life.

Schedule

  • Various days, approximately 5 days per week
  • Daytime hours between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM
  • Consistent and dependable availability preferred

Compensation

$21.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience and assignment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care, bathing, hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support safe mobility and ambulation inside and outside the home.
  • Prepare and serve meals according to the client's dietary needs.
  • Provide medication reminders as directed by the care plan.
  • Assist with prescribed exercises and daily activities.
  • Offer companionship and engage the client in meaningful activities.
  • Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment.
  • Assist with shopping and errands when needed.
  • Observe and report changes in the client's condition or behavior.
  • Communicate professionally with the client, family, and care team.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and unexpected situations.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
  • Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association, as required for the assignment.
  • Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and follow an established care plan.
  • Basic meal preparation and housekeeping skills.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to perform the physical duties required for caregiving.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Successful completion of a background check and reference verification.
