Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care to a client in Seattle, Washington. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others maintain their dignity, independence, comfort, and quality of life.

We are looking for a caring individual who can provide reliable support with daily living activities while creating a safe, comfortable, and positive home environment.

Schedule

  • Various days, approximately 5 days per week
  • Daytime hours between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM
  • Reliable availability and punctuality are essential

Compensation

$21.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience and assignment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
  • Help clients with mobility and safe ambulation inside and outside the home.
  • Prepare and serve meals while following dietary requirements.
  • Provide medication reminders as directed by the client's care plan.
  • Assist with prescribed exercises and recommended daily activities.
  • Provide companionship and encourage participation in meaningful activities.
  • Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home.
  • Assist with shopping and accompany clients on errands when needed.
  • Observe and communicate changes in the client's condition or behavior.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, families, and other care team members.
  • Follow established care plans and respond appropriately to emergencies or unusual situations.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association, as required for the assignment.
  • Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable approach to caregiving.
  • Ability to work independently and follow care instructions.
  • Basic meal preparation and light housekeeping skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
  • Physical ability to perform essential caregiving duties.
  • Active CNA, HCA, or completion of training
  • Successful completion of a background check and reference verification.
