Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care to a client in Bellevue, Washington.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others maintain their independence, dignity, comfort, and quality of life. We are looking for a caring individual who can provide reliable support with daily living activities while creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive home environment.

Schedule

  • Daily shifts, 7 days per week
  • Hours: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Four-hour daytime shifts
  • Dependability and consistent availability are essential

Compensation

$21.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience and assignment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care, hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support safe mobility and ambulation inside and outside the home.
  • Prepare and serve meals while following the client's dietary requirements.
  • Provide medication reminders as directed by the care plan.
  • Assist with prescribed exercises and recommended daily activities.
  • Provide companionship and engage the client in meaningful activities.
  • Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home.
  • Assist with shopping and accompany the client on errands when needed.
  • Observe and report changes in the client's condition or behavior.
  • Communicate effectively with the client, family members, and other care team members.
  • Follow the established care plan and respond appropriately to emergencies or unusual situations.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
  • Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association, as required for the assignment.
  • Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable approach to care-giving.
  • Ability to work independently and follow established care instructions.
  • Basic meal preparation and light housekeeping skills.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Physical ability to perform essential care-giving duties.
  • Active CNA, HCA or Completion of training
  • Successful completion of a background check and reference verification.
