Job Description

As an Advanced RF Power Amplifier Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will leverage your expertise to design, develop, and optimize Power Amplifiers for advanced wireless and RF systems that push the boundaries of aerospace technology. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing the performance and reliability of wireless communication products that support critical aerospace applications.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Lansdale, PA location on a 9/80 work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the development of innovative wireless solutions that improve connectivity and operational efficiency for aerospace systems, contributing to Honeywell Aerospace’s leadership in the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop advanced Power Amplifiers for wireless and RF systems and products tailored for aerospace applications
  • Conduct system-level analysis and optimization to ensure high performance and compliance with industry standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to understand requirements and deliver innovative wireless solutions

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in RF Power Amplifier engineering
  • Strong knowledge of Power Amplifiers for wireless communication systems and RF design principles (Matching networks, Amplifier Classes, Load Line, etc)
  • Proficiency in simulation and analysis tools for RF system design and optimization (ADS, AWR, HFSS preferred)
  • Experience with wireless protocols such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular technologies
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Passion for innovation and continuous learning in wireless technologies
  • Knowledge of wireless regulatory requirements and industry standards
