Importante empresa ecuatoriana del sector turístico y hotelero se encuentra en búsqueda de un Jefe de Mantenimiento para dirigir la gestión de mantenimiento y asistencia técnica de la embarcación asignada dentro de su flota, asegurando la operación segura, la disponibilidad y la continuidad de sus sistemas marítimos, auxiliares y hoteleros, con modalidad embarcada y presencial a bordo.

Principales responsabilidades:

  • Controlar el funcionamiento de máquinas, instalaciones y equipos de la embarcación: propulsión, generación y distribución eléctrica, combustible, gobierno e hidráulica, desalinización y suministro de agua, climatización y refrigeración, aguas residuales y oleosas, fondeo y manejo de zodiacs.
  • Incorporar a la cobertura técnica los equipos e instalaciones hoteleras mantenibles: cocina, lavandería, jacuzzis, entre otros.
  • Brindar asistencia técnica y coordinar con especialistas autorizados las intervenciones en navegación, comunicaciones, detección y extinción de incendios, salvamento, redes, CCTV, audiovisuales y cerraduras electrónicas.
  • Diseñar, coordinar y controlar el plan de mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo por equipo, según horas de operación, condición, criticidad y recomendaciones del fabricante.
  • Asignar, coordinar y supervisar las reparaciones del equipo técnico a su cargo, dando seguimiento a los objetivos del área y reportando su eficiencia mediante KPIs.
  • Alertar oportunamente al Capitán y a Superintendencia sobre fallas, recurrencias, mantenimientos vencidos y riesgos de continuidad, proponiendo prioridades y medidas de mitigación.

Perfil requerido:

  • Título de tercer nivel y grado de Oficial de Máquinas, con matrícula, certificados de competencia y refrendos vigentes que habiliten la Jefatura de Mantenimiento de Máquinas de la embarcación.
  • Experiencia como Oficial de Máquinas en embarcaciones comparables, con liderazgo técnico, gestión de personal y mantenimiento marítimo integral, incluidos sistemas auxiliares y hoteleros.
  • Conocimientos en planificación de mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo, gestión de repuestos e inventario técnico, y uso de herramientas digitales de mantenimiento e inventarios.
  • Conocimiento de normativa de seguridad marítima, prevención de riesgos y gestión ambiental a bordo.
  • Disponibilidad para embarque en las rutas de la flota.
  • Competencias valoradas: liderazgo, planificación, orientación a resultados, comunicación efectiva, rigor documental y toma de decisiones bajo presión.
