THE ROLE:

As a Quality Process Program Manager, you will serve as the central coordinator for manufacturing change management and material review activities across AMD's global semiconductor operations. This role is focused on bringing together stakeholders from Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to evaluate process changes, manage material review board (MRB) events, drive issue containment, and ensure timely resolution of manufacturing challenges. You will lead discussions, facilitate decision-making, track actions to closure, and help ensure potential risks are appropriately assessed before impacting production or customers. Success in this role comes from your ability to navigate complex manufacturing environments, coordinate across multiple organizations and time zones, and keep critical programs moving forward through influence, organization, and strong execution

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate Material Review Board (MRB) activities and manufacturing change management processes across AMD's global semiconductor manufacturing network.
  • Lead cross-functional reviews involving Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, and other subject matter experts to drive timely decisions and issue resolution.
  • Manage material disposition activities, including containment, quarantine, tracking, and disposition of affected material to prevent customer impact.
  • Drive change management workflows by assessing change classifications, ensuring appropriate review paths, and coordinating stakeholder approvals.
  • Chair technical review meetings, facilitate decision-making, track action items, and drive closure of open issues.
  • Partner with global teams across multiple time zones to coordinate process changes, manufacturing excursions, and material management activities.
  • Monitor execution of approved actions and ensure effective communication of decisions and risks across stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement of material review and change management processes, tools, and systems.
  • Escalate critical issues and risks as needed to ensure timely resolution and business continuity.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in semiconductor manufacturing, product engineering, process integration, assembly, packaging, test, or related technical functions.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing flows from wafer fabrication through assembly, test, and board-level production.
  • Experience in process integration or manufacturing environments requiring knowledge of upstream and downstream manufacturing dependencies.
  • Proven ability to coordinate complex, cross-functional programs involving multiple organizations and stakeholders.
  • Experience leading technical discussions, facilitating reviews, and driving accountability across geographically distributed teams.
  • Ability to evaluate manufacturing issues, assess process impacts, and coordinate appropriate containment and disposition activities.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing change management, material review processes, product lifecycle activities, or manufacturing operations programs.
  • Experience working in a global environment supporting teams across multiple time zones.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • BS or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering.
