THE ROLE:

We are in search of an experienced Program Manager with strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills. The ideal candidate will work effectively across a cross-functional engineering organization to support successful development, deployment, and application of methodologies for power optimization and functional verification. The candidate should be able to work independently and collaboratively in complex and evolving engineering environments.

THE PERSON:

As a Program Manager, you will partner with cross-functional engineering teams to manage the development, deployment, and application of methodologies for power optimization and functional verification. You will align stakeholders around solutions needed to achieve product targets, drive deliverables, manage dependencies and risks, and meet program schedules.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define, plan, and drive projects and program plans based on management and senior technical guidance.
  • Apply project management principles effectively across projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Manage projects and processes of significant technical importance that span multiple engineering project areas.
  • Identify and implement improvements to existing processes and methods to enhance project and team efficiency.
  • Create and maintain project management artifacts including schedules, resource plans and forecasts, risk registers, and issue logs.
  • Develop clear, data-informed views of project status and facilitate dependencies and communication across development teams.
  • Identify issues and risks throughout the project lifecycle and collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute appropriate action and mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with methodology and execution teams to identify areas requiring additional attention and coordinate appropriate corrective actions and escalations.
  • Collect, analyze, organize, and communicate work performance data through dashboards and recurring status reports.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstrated accountability for commitments, deliverables, and outcomes.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships and contribute both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Ability to identify priorities and take appropriate initiative while engaging relevant team members in planning, decision-making, and execution.
  • People management or cross-functional leadership experience is desirable.
  • Ability to communicate technical and program information effectively with engineering teams, business partners, and senior leaders.
  • Experience developing and maintaining meaningful indicators for schedule, quality, risk, and program performance.
  • Experience with engineering development.
  • Experience with methodology development.
  • Experience leading and influencing teams within cross-functional or matrixed organizations.
  • Technical program management and stakeholder or customer relationship management experience.
  • Experience collaborating with Engineering, Program/Project Management, and Business Units to solve problems and mitigate risks.
  • Strong working knowledge of productivity and project management tools, including Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite, and Copilot.
  • Experience using approved artificial intelligence tools responsibly and appropriately to improve productivity and work quality where applicable.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent relevant education and experience.
