The posting

AMLI Residential is looking for a Groundskeeper-Custodian to join our team at our luxury apartment community in Marina del Rey! Enjoy a stable, day-shift schedule (40 hours per week, no nights!) while helping us maintain the beauty and cleanliness of our property.

What You’ll Do:

  • Clean and maintain leasing office, restrooms, hallways, stairways, elevators, amenities, laundry rooms, parking garage, and other common areas.
  • Perform daily trash removal and recycling.
  • Assist with preparing vacant and model apartments for move-ins and tours.
  • Wash interior/exterior windows, maintain light fixtures, and keep the community fresh and presentable.
  • Care for, inventory, and properly use all janitorial supplies and equipment.
  • Provide basic grounds care such as sweeping, picking up trash, and watering planters.
  • Assist with move-out cleanings, moving bulky items, and property inspections.
  • Support the team during emergencies (flood, fire, weather-related events) and occasional overtime needs.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Prior custodial, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment (mops, vacuums, carpet cleaners, scrubbers, etc.).
  • Ability to push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs. (occasionally more).
  • Ability to follow basic written and verbal instructions.

Tus funciones:

• Ayudar con las limpiezas de fin de contrato, el traslado de objetos voluminosos y las inspecciones de la propiedad.

• Apoyar al equipo durante emergencias (inundaciones, incendios, fenómenos meteorológicos) y necesidades ocasionales de horas extras.

Lo que buscamos:

• Se valorará experiencia previa en conserjería, mantenimiento o limpieza.

• Capacidad para manejar con seguridad el equipo de limpieza (fregonas, aspiradoras, limpiadores de alfombras, fregadoras, etc.).

• Capacidad para empujar, tirar y levantar hasta 50 libras (en ocasiones, más).

• Capacidad para seguir instrucciones básicas escritas y verbales.
