  • Develop and execute financial strategies that support the division’s short- and long-term goals, including revenue growth, margin expansion, and portfolio optimization.
  • Partner with senior business leaders to evaluate and prioritize investments, partnerships, and business development opportunities.
  • Provide financial modeling, scenario planning, and risk analysis to support executive decision-making.
  • Lead strategic planning and budgeting processes in alignment with corporate objectives and product lifecycle management.

Financial Management and Operations

  • Oversee all FP&A activities for the Rare Disease business, including forecasts, variance analyses, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure accurate accounting and financial performance tracking for all products within the rare disease portfolio.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance and drive accountability.
  • Partner with Commercial and Supply Chain to forecast product demand, pricing, and gross-to-net impacts.
  • Support new product launches and lifecycle management with financial insights and commercialization analytics.
  • Manage the preparation of monthly and quarterly business reviews, providing clear, data-driven recommendations to leadership.
  • Lead the analysis of product profitability, patient access economics, and channel performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and data integrity across the division.

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Corporate Finance, Commercial Operations, R&D, and Supply Chain to ensure financial alignment and transparency.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing strategic insights that balance business opportunity and financial prudence.
  • Represent the Rare Disease business unit in corporate financial planning and governance discussions.
  • Partner with Compliance and Legal to ensure adherence to all financial, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Business Development and Strategic Support

  • Evaluate external opportunities, such as licensing, partnerships, and acquisitions, for strategic fit and financial impact.
  • Provide financial leadership for due diligence and integration of new assets or collaborations in the rare disease space.
  • Support investor relations and external communications by providing financial insights and business performance narratives related to the Rare Disease portfolio.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
