The posting

Financial Reporting Specialist

Location: Kraków

We are looking for a Financial Reporting Specialist to join an international organization operating within the financial services sector.

This opportunity would be a great fit for someone with experience in accounting, financial reporting or fund services who would like to further develop their expertise within an international investment environment.

Your responsibilities:

  • Supporting the preparation of financial statements and financial reports
  • Participating in accounting processes related to investment funds
  • Reviewing and analysing financial data
  • Working with various financial instruments, including equities, bonds, derivatives and private debt
  • Supporting period-end closing and reporting processes
  • Cooperating with international accounting and fund administration teams

What we are looking for:

  • At least 1–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, fund accounting, securities services or a related area
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and basic knowledge of fund accounting
  • Understanding of financial instruments
  • Experience with investment funds would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of IFRS, Lux GAAP or US GAAP would be an asset
  • University degree or ongoing studies in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • English at minimum C1 level
