Deine Aufgaben...

Als Senior Data Scientist / Senior AI Engineer (m/w/d) imBereich AI & Applications der areto baust du produktive KI- und ML-Lösungen für unsere Kunden. Von RAG-/Agenten-Architekturen über Intelligent Document Processing bis zu klassischen ML- und MLOps-Use-Cases im Kontext größerer Datenplattformtechnologien (Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric)

Du baust Software, die in Produktion läuft—Code-first Ansätze in Python,mit KI als festem Teil deines Entwicklungs-Workflows. Low-Code ist für dich ein Werkzeug im Baukasten, kein Ersatz für sauberes Engineering.

Du übernimmst technische Verantwortung in Projekten und Ausschreibungen,bringst Architektur-Entscheidungen voran und bist Sparringspartner für Kunden und Kolleg:innen.

  • Design &Umsetzungvon GenAI-Lösungen(RAG, Agentic Workflows, Chatbots)mit z.B.Lang Chain / Lang Graph, LLM Services, Fast API, Qdrant und Docker.
  • Entwicklung klassischer ML-/Analytics-Lösungen(Forecasting, Scoring,Segmentierung) inkl. sauberem Feature-Engineering und Evaluation.
  • Aufbau produktionsreifer, dokumentierter Daten und ML-Pipelines mit Fokus auf Developer Experience, Testbarkeit und Wartbarkeit.
  • ML Ops& Monitoring: Model-Lifecycle, Drift-/Quality-Monitoring, LLM-Evaluation (ML flow/Langfuse), CI/CD.
  • Technische Konzeption und Architektur-Entscheidungen(z.B.Build-vs-Buy)gemeinsam mit dem Team.
  • Übersetzung von Kundenanforderungen in tragfähige Lösungen—inkl. PoCs Aufwandseinschätzung und Kunden-Kommunikation.
  • Durchführung von Kundenworkshops zur Anforderungsaufnahme oder Use Case Identifikation

Dein Profil ...

  • Mehrjährige Erfahrung (Senior-Level) in Data Science und/oder AI Engineering mit nachweisbaren produktiven Projekten.
  • Python auf sehr gutem Niveau — Developer Experience ist dir wichtig, nicht nur „läuft irgendwie".
  • Routinierter Einsatz KI-gestützter Coding-Workflows (z.B. Claude Code oder GitHub Copilot) im Entwicklungsalltag.
  • Fundierte ML-Grundlagen und praktische LLM-/GenAI-Erfahrung (RAG, Prompt Engineering, Monitoring, Guardrails).
  • Beratungs-/Kundenkompetenz: du kannst technische Themen verständlich erklären und Entscheidungen begründen.
  • Eigeninitiative bei Dokumentation und Wissensweitergabe — du hinterlässt Projekte besser dokumentiert, als du sie vorgefunden hast.
  • Sehr gute Deutsch- und gute Englischkenntnisse. (C2 Level)

Wenn das Leben ein Wunschkonzert wäre, dann ...

  • Erfahrung mit Agentenframeworks (Lang Graph) oder Workflow-Automatisierung (n8n).
  • Fullstack-Erfahrung (z.B. Vue.js / FastAPI) für interne Tools und Daten-Frontends.
  • Erfahrung mit On-Prem-/Air-Gapped-LLM-Deployments
  • relevante Zertifizierungen (z.B. Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS).
  • Erfahrung in der Beratung von Kunden zu KI-Strategie und KI-Governance Themen
