The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Game Producer: Platform Games based in Romania.

As a Game Producer: Platform Games, you will oversee the end-to-end development and launch of engaging, short-session games adapted for leading digital platforms and emerging distribution channels. You will turn creative concepts into successful releases, managing every stage of production, from strategy and planning to testing, launch, and live operations. Working closely with internal developers, designers, QA teams, and external studios, you will ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality expectations. You will also collaborate with platform partners, manage production risks, and use performance metrics to guide decisions and improve player engagement. This role offers the opportunity to shape a growing portfolio of accessible gaming experiences while exploring new intellectual properties and distribution opportunities. Join a lean, collaborative, and international environment where ownership, creativity, and measurable results are central to success.

Accountabilities

  • Own the full lifecycle of multiple game titles, from strategic planning and concept development to production, testing, launch, and live operations.
  • Develop game strategies, evaluate creative concepts, and pitch new titles and intellectual properties for the platform games portfolio.
  • Coordinate internal developers, designers, QA teams, and external studios to maintain alignment, resolve blockers, and deliver projects on time.
  • Lead Agile and Scrum processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, production schedules, and roadmap tracking across multiple concurrent titles.
  • Maintain accurate production trackers and dashboards, ensuring clear visibility into project status, ownership, milestones, deadlines, and dependencies.
  • Manage relationships with platform partners, including Reddit and MSN, overseeing submission processes, technical requirements, and launch certifications.
  • Coordinate external studios and vendors, manage production expectations, and work with legal and licensing teams to secure intellectual property rights and approvals.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, including the number of live games, revenue per daily player, and engagement metrics, and provide regular weekly performance reports.
  • Identify production risks, anticipate schedule delays, develop mitigation plans, and oversee release management to ensure successful launches.
  • Explore emerging distribution channels, including Discord, YouTube Playables, and Telegram, to identify opportunities for portfolio expansion.
  • Use performance data and stakeholder feedback to prioritize improvements, evaluate opportunities, and make informed production decisions.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Game Producer or Associate Producer, preferably within casual, mobile, browser, or platform gaming.
  • Proven experience managing the complete game production lifecycle and successfully shipping titles with both internal teams and external or outsourced development partners.
  • Working knowledge of Unity and HTML5 game development pipelines, including relevant production workflows and evolving platform technologies.
  • Practical experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, scheduling, and managing deliverables in an active production environment.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple titles, competing priorities, and cross-functional teams simultaneously.
  • Experience coordinating platform partner launches, submissions, technical requirements, and certification processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage external studio and vendor relationships, monitor delivery commitments, and proactively address timeline and production risks.
  • Comfort working with dashboards, revenue metrics, player engagement data, and other performance indicators to inform decisions about game releases, priorities, and ongoing improvements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across different time zones.
  • A strong interest in retro and arcade gaming, along with familiarity with classic game franchises and their potential for modern platforms.
  • Experience using data-driven insights, including revenue-per-player and engagement metrics, to make informed decisions about launching, continuing, or discontinuing projects.
  • Familiarity with emerging digital distribution channels and new opportunities for casual gaming experiences.
  • Remote and flexible working: A trust-based work environment with flexibility in how you organize your work, while maintaining core working-hour overlap with European and Indian time zones.
  • Contract engagement: An initial three-month contractual engagement, with responsibilities centered on delivering production milestones.
  • Ownership and impact: Direct responsibility for game production, strategic decisions, and the successful launch of new titles.
  • Leadership exposure: Opportunities to collaborate closely with leadership and contribute directly to portfolio development and growth.
  • Comprehensive medical coverage: Medical insurance provided at no cost.
  • Collaborative culture: Work with an ambitious, supportive, and internationally connected team in a creative gaming environment.
  • Innovation opportunities: Help bring classic gaming experiences to modern platforms while exploring new intellectual properties and distribution channels.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
