Job Description

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on laundry equipment, including washer extractors, tunnel washers, dryers, pumps, boilers, and related systems.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment failures and implement timely solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.
  • Monitor equipment condition and recommend repairs, upgrades, or replacement opportunities.
  • Support inventory management by tracking, ordering, and receiving parts and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards and promote a culture of workplace safety.
  • Assist with work order management and preventive maintenance scheduling through HOTSOS or other maintenance management systems.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to minimize equipment downtime and support production goals.
  • Participate in training initiatives and remain current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of departmental and organizational objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Facilities Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years of maintenance or engineering experience, preferably within a commercial laundry, hospitality, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of boilers, compressors, pumps, motors, mechanical systems, and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
