We act for humanity.   About the role The Manager - Programs is responsible for the operational leadership, performance, compliance, and sustainability of the overall program portfolio in Western Australia. Leading a geographically dispersed workforce, you will be accountable for ensuring programs are delivered safely, effectively, and in accordance with contractual requirements, legislation, organisational standards, and quality frameworks. You will play a key role in supporting the Senior (State) Manager - Programs through the operational management of services, implementation of state priorities, supervision of staff across multiple projects providing operational leadership across Migration Support Program and Community Programs in WA (and where required Emergency services activities), strengthening community resilience, social cohesion, and positive outcomes for individuals and families across Western Australia. About You You are an experienced people leader who brings strong operational management capability, sound judgement, and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes for communities. You will bring:

Demonstrated leadership experience managing complex community and/or Migration services programs, preferably in WA Experience leading and motivating geographically dispersed teams with proven track record in building positive and constructive team relations Strong understanding of contract management, program compliance, quality assurance, and risk management Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills Strong financial management capability, including budget development, forecasting, performance monitoring and resource management Strong verbal communication skills, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities High-level written communication skills, including development of business cases, proposals, tenders, funding submissions and executive reports Experience working within diverse and culturally responsive environments A relevant qualification/s A working with children check and Australian drivers licence are mandatory requirements for the role
