The posting

The Digital Learning Manager reports to the Vice President, Training and leads the ongoing development, governance, and improvement of curriculum across the Authority Brands portfolio. This role manages an external curriculum design partner, leads instructional designers, oversees the learning management system (LMS), and establishes standards for facilitator guides, participant workbooks, eLearning modules, and assessments. The position is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and requires up to 10% travel. Authority Brands prepares new franchise owners to open and operate successful home service businesses through online pre-work and live, hands-on training in Atlanta. The program includes a shared core curriculum followed by brand-specific instruction. External partners support initial curriculum design; after handoff, the training team owns delivery, maintenance, and continuous improvement across the portfolio. Key Responsibilities

Manage the external curriculum design partner, including scope, timelines, quality review, approval, and handoff of deliverables. Lead and develop instructional designers by setting priorities, coaching performance, reviewing work, and evaluating results. Establish design standards and reusable templates for facilitator guides, participant workbooks, eLearning modules, and assessments. Maintain clear ownership, version control, and regular review cycles for all curricula. Oversee new-owner pre-work and partner with the Lead Onboarding Coordinator to establish and enforce completion requirements. Administer the LMS, including the course catalog, enrollments, content publishing, and completion records. Partner with IT on LMS requirements, integrations, learning data, and reporting. Use learner feedback, assessment results, facilitator input, and completion data to identify priorities and improve learning effectiveness. Evaluate brand change requests and determine the appropriate timing, scope, and priority of curriculum updates.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate combines instructional design expertise, people leadership, vendor management, and learning technology experience with the ability to build consistent, scalable solutions across a multi-brand organization. Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, learning technology, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered. 7+ years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or digital learning, including 3+ years leading designers or a content team. Demonstrated experience managing external design partners from project scoping through delivery and handoff. Experience designing instructor-led and digital learning, using eLearning authoring tools, and administering an LMS. Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder partnership skills, with the ability to manage priorities across multiple brands. Ability to use learner feedback, assessment results, and learning data to evaluate effectiveness and guide improvements. Franchise, multi-brand, or distributed workforce training experience preferred. Experience with performance-based curriculum architecture methods, such as lean-ISD or PACT Processes, preferred. Master’s degree in instructional design, education, or a related field preferred.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
