Lead Core Facilitator Authority Brands Inc. is a leading provider of home services, building brands that support the success of our franchisees, as well as bettering the lives of the homeowners we serve and the people we employ.
Position Summary The Lead Core Facilitator reports to the Director of Training and leads the team that teaches the common core—the week every new franchise owner completes regardless of brand. This player-coach role leads Core Facilitators, teaches approximately half of a full facilitation load, and ensures core and network classes are delivered by prepared, certified facilitators. The role is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and requires up to 15% travel.
Authority Brands prepares new franchise owners to open and operate successful home service businesses through online pre-work and live, hands-on training in Atlanta. Owners complete online pre-work and then attend live, hands-on training in Atlanta, beginning with a common business-operations core shared by every brand and followed by brand-specific training. The team also delivers network classes in sales, leadership, call taking, and management development, as well as trades and restoration classes taught by endorsed core facilitators. Contracted partners lead the initial curriculum design; the training team delivers the programs and owns the curriculum after handoff.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Core Facilitators by setting schedules, coaching performance, providing feedback, and contributing to hiring and performance reviews. Pair facilitators for each core week and balance teaching loads across the team to maintain two certified facilitators in the room. Run teach-backs and practice sessions so facilitators are prepared before each new or revised module goes live. Observe core delivery for the Director of Training and contribute to facilitator certification decisions. Teach the common core and network classes at approximately half of a full facilitation load. Partner with the Lead Onboarding Coordinator on core-team assignments and coverage. Bring learner feedback and delivery issues to the Instructional Designer, Common Core, to support continuous curriculum improvement. Collect examples from the brands represented in each cohort so the common core remains relevant across the portfolio. Establish and maintain a documented teach-back routine for new and revised core modules. Ensure core weeks run on schedule with appropriately certified facilitators.
Qualifications The Lead Core Facilitator brings strong in-person facilitation experience with adult learners, demonstrated success coaching other facilitators, and the ability to teach practical business topics to franchise owners, managers, and sales teams.
