The posting
The Lead Onboarding Coordinator reports to the Vice President, Training and manages training coordination and new-owner onboarding across the Authority Brands portfolio. This role oversees the shared training calendar, classroom and facilitator scheduling, class resources, and owner readiness from signing through on-site attendance. The position is based in Atlanta, Georgia and requires minimal travel.
Authority Brands' training organization prepares new franchise owners across its portfolio of home services businesses to open and run their businesses. Owners complete online pre-work, then attend live, hands-on training in Atlanta: a common core shared across the portfolio, followed by business-specific training. Common-core subjects may include business planning, financial management, customer experience, sales and marketing, technology, compliance, people management, and day-to-day operating practices applicable across different franchised home services businesses. Contracted partners lead the initial curriculum design; this team delivers the training and owns the curriculum after handoff. Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain the annual shared training calendar across the portfolio: scheduling every cohort's dates. Match classrooms and lab spaces to each class and protect the weeks reserved for company town halls. Match certified facilitators to each class from the Director of Training's qualification matrix, with a named backup. Balance facilitator teaching loads across the year, and flag conflicts or overloads to the Director of Training. Resource each class: materials, kits, equipment and vendor partner sessions. Enroll new owners into cohorts from the franchise development handoff. Confirm pre-work is complete before a seat is confirmed, and follow up with owners who are behind. Send franchisees their travel and logistics communications: dates, location, lodging, what to bring and pre-work reminders. Coordinate travel and lodging for attendees and facilitators within policy. Work with brand launch teams and franchise business consultants on each owner's timing. Report on seats, fill, readiness and facilitator load by brand. Supervise the Onboarding Coordinator.
Qualifications The ideal candidate combines training or program coordination experience, people leadership, customer communication, and scheduling technology skills with the ability to manage shared resources across multiple brands and cohorts.
