Buscamos un/a Encargado/a de Lavandería responsable de coordinar y ejecutar eficientemente el proceso de lavado, secado, planchado, doblado, clasificación y almacenamiento de la ropa del hotel, asegurando siempre altos estándares de higiene, presentación y conservación de los textiles.

Funciones Principales

  • Operación y Proceso: Recibir, clasificar, lavar, secar, planchar, doblar y almacenar correctamente la ropa de habitaciones, baños, áreas comunes, cocina y uniformes.
  • Control de Calidad e Higiene: Coordinar los flujos de ropa limpia y sucia para evitar la contaminación cruzada y mantener estándares óptimos para huéspedes y colaboradores.
  • Manejo de Insumos e Inventario: Controlar el inventario de lencería y uniformes (informando pérdidas o deterioros) y gestionar de forma eficiente el uso de detergentes e insumos.
  • Operación de Equipos: Manejar correctamente lavadoras, secadoras, planchas y equipos industriales, informando fallas o necesidades de mantención.
  • Coordinación Logística: Trabajar estrechamente con el área de Housekeeping y anticiparse a las necesidades operativas considerando la ubicación aislada y el entorno de montaña.
  • Sustentabilidad y Seguridad: Promover prácticas responsables en el uso de agua, energía y químicos, aplicando los procedimientos de seguridad e higiene del hotel.

Requisitos

Requisitos del Puesto

  • Formación: Educación media completa.
  • Conocimientos Técnicos: Manejo y cuidado básico de lavadoras, secadoras, planchas y equipos industriales de lavandería. Procesos de lavado, secado, planchado y clasificación según composición, color y nivel de suciedad. Residencia en Puerto Natales.
  • Habilidades y Competencias: Organización, planificación y capacidad para priorizar tareas según la ocupación. Comunicación efectiva, responsabilidad, orden, prolijidad y atención al detalle. Adaptabilidad, integridad, autonomía y actitud colaborativa para trabajar en una operación de alta exigencia.
