Encargado/a de Turno

En el vibrante corazón de Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, buscamos un/a Encargado/a de Turno apasionado/a en nuestro Restaurante con mención Michelin, con un enfoque en brindar experiencias memorables a nuestros huéspedes. En este puesto, tendrás la responsabilidad de liderar y coordinar las operaciones diarias, asegurando que nuestros estándares de calidad y servicio se mantengan en todo momento.

El rol

Vas a ser la persona responsable del salón durante tu turno (mañana o tarde), reportando al Maître. Coordinás al equipo de mozos, cuidás que cada detalle del servicio esté a la altura y sos el punto de contacto con cocina, recepción y guías para que la experiencia del huésped fluya sin costuras.

Qué vas a hacer

  • Organizar y liderar el servicio de tu turno: apertura, mise en place, asignación de tareas y cierre.
  • Acompañar al equipo en el día a día: dar el ejemplo en el trato, corregir en el momento y ayudar a formar a quienes recién empiezan.
  • Conocer a los huéspedes: preferencias, restricciones alimentarias, ocasiones especiales, y asegurarte de que el equipo las tenga presentes.
  • Coordinar con cocina tiempos y cambios, y con el resto del lodge horarios de excursiones, picnics y cenas fuera del salón.
  • Recomendar vinos con criterio y acompañar el maridaje.
  • Resolver imprevistos y reclamos con calma y buen juicio.
  • Controlar stock, cubiertos, cristalería y orden general del salón; reportar novedades al Maître.

Requisitos

  • Experiencia de al menos 5 años en salón, con rol de supervisión o liderazgo de turno, en hotelería u gastronomía de alta gama.
  • Inglés fluido para conversar con huéspedes internacionales (otro idioma suma).
  • Buen conocimiento de vinos, especialmente argentinos y de Mendoza.
  • Capacidad para liderar desde el ejemplo, con trato cálido y firme a la vez.
  • Atención al detalle y criterio para anticiparse a lo que el huésped necesita.
  • Disponibilidad para turnos rotativos, fines de semana y feriados.
