The posting

Iedere dag bakken wij het lekkerste brood dat je terugvindt in de schappen van verschillende Nederlandse supermarkten. Terwijl een groot deel van Nederland slaapt, zijn onze chauffeurs onderweg om ervoor te zorgen dat ons brood op tijd op de juiste plek terechtkomt. Als Coördinator Chauffeurs zorg jij er tijdens de nachtdienst voor dat dit allemaal in goede banen wordt geleid.

Je bent het aanspreekpunt voor onze chauffeurs, houdt het overzicht en zorgt dat de transporten soepel verlopen. En zelf achter het stuur? Dat hoeft niet. Jij zorgt er juist voor dat onze chauffeurs hun werk goed kunnen doen.

Wat ga je doen?

Jouw nacht begint met het ontvangen van de chauffeurs. Je zorgt dat zij over de juiste informatie beschikken en goed voorbereid aan hun rit kunnen beginnen. Zodra de chauffeurs onderweg zijn, houd jij zicht op de voortgang van de ritten en ben je bereikbaar als er onderweg iets speelt.

Loopt alles volgens planning? Mooi! Dan heb jij de ruimte om andere logistieke werkzaamheden op te pakken en je collega's te ondersteunen waar dat nodig is. Maar bij vertraging, een wijziging of een andere onverwachte situatie verschuift je aandacht direct naar de chauffeurs. Je schakelt snel, stelt prioriteiten en zoekt samen met de chauffeur of andere betrokken collega's naar een praktische oplossing.

Je werkt zelfstandig, maar staat natuurlijk niet alleen. Je hebt contact met chauffeurs, collega's binnen de logistiek en waar nodig vervoerders. Je rapporteert aan het Hoofd Logistiek.

Jouw werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit:

  • ontvangen van de chauffeurs en zorgen dat zij goed voorbereid aan hun rit beginnen;
  • aansturen en begeleiden van de chauffeurs tijdens de nachtdienst;
  • fungeren als eerste aanspreekpunt voor chauffeurs onderweg;
  • bewaken van de voortgang van de ritten en transportplanning;
  • snel schakelen bij vertragingen, calamiteiten of andere onverwachte situaties;
  • coördineren van de logistieke processen rondom de chauffeurs;
  • afstemmen met collega's en vervoerders wanneer dat nodig is;
  • uitvoeren van de bijbehorende administratieve werkzaamheden;
  • signaleren van knelpunten en meedenken over verbeteringen in het proces.

Kortom: jij zorgt ervoor dat onze chauffeurs goed op weg gaan én onderweg op jou kunnen rekenen.

Wie zoeken we?

  • Je hebt mbo werk- en denkniveau en bij voorkeur ervaring binnen transport, logistiek of distributie.
  • Je hebt affiniteit met transport en begrijpt wat er komt kijken bij het werk van chauffeurs.
  • Je bent bereid om structureel in de nachtdienst te werken. Uiteraard staat daar een goede beloning tegenover.
  • Je bent communicatief sterk en weet chauffeurs op een prettige, duidelijke manier aan te sturen en te begeleiden.
  • Je bent organisatorisch sterk, houdt overzicht en kunt snel schakelen wanneer de planning onverwacht verandert.
  • Je stelt de juiste prioriteiten, denkt in praktische oplossingen en durft zelfstandig beslissingen te nemen.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en kunt goed overweg met de administratieve en digitale kant van het logistieke proces.
  • Ervaring als chauffeur is mooi meegenomen, maar zeker geen vereiste. Zelf rijden maakt geen onderdeel uit van deze functie.
