Over de functie

In deze functie ben je onderdeel van de sectie EU & Mededinging. De sectie bestaat uit advocaten die nauw en met plezier voor het vak samenwerken. De sectie heeft ruime ervaring ten aanzien van alle facetten van het Europees recht en is met name gespecialiseerd in: (Europees) mededingingsrecht, aanbestedingsrecht en competition litigation. De advocaten en juridisch assistants van de sectie vormen een hecht team. Er is hoogwaardige expertise aanwezig en de sectie opereert in de top van de markt. Ook heerst er een laagdrempelige sfeer en open cultuur.

Als gevorderd advocaat-stagiaire of beginnend medewerker ligt het zwaartepunt van je werkzaamheden op procederen en adviseren op het gebied van mededingingsrecht.

In mededingingsrechtelijke dossiers adviseer je ondernemingen over de inrichting van hun bedrijfsvoering, zodat deze in overeenstemming is met de mededingingsrechtelijke regels. Je adviseert bijvoorbeeld over samenwerkingsovereenkomsten, distributiecontracten en fusies en overnames. Ook assisteer je ondernemingen bij onderzoeken van de Autoriteit Consument & Markt of de Europese Commissie en bij procedures die daaruit voortvloeien.

Naast de mededingingsrechtelijke dossiers heb je de mogelijkheid om je verder te ontwikkelen in dossiers op het gebied van competition litigation en/of aanbestedingsrecht. Deze combinatie biedt veel afwisseling en de kans om je te ontwikkelen binnen interessante procedures en ingewikkelde adviesdossiers. Binnen de competition litigation praktijk werken de advocaten aan civiele procedures waarin benadeelden schade verhalen op overtreders van de mededingingsregels. Het zijn complexe procedures waarin je nauw samenwerkt met specialisten uit het litigation team en met (economische) experts.

In aanbestedingsrechtelijke dossiers sta je ondernemingen bij in (kort geding) procedures naar aanleiding van aanbestedingen. Daarnaast ondersteun je marktpartijen voorafgaand aan een aanbesteding bij het opstellen van de bieding. Je werkt hierbij zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband. De samenwerking vindt niet alleen plaats binnen de sectie, maar ook met collega’s uit andere secties van kantoor.

In deze rol geef je mede gezicht aan het team en word je betrokken bij de uitbouw van de praktijk. Je bent een belangrijk aanspreekpunt voor de cliënt en krijgt ruimte om je werkzaamheden zelf vorm te geven op basis van je expertise en interesse. Hierbij wordt ondernemerschap sterk aangemoedigd.

Jouw profiel

  • je hebt je master Nederlands recht succesvol afgerond;
  • je hebt minimaal twee jaar werkervaring als advocaat (in opleiding);
  • je hebt ervaring met het mededingingsrecht;
  • ervaring met competition litigation en/of het aanbestedingsrecht is een pre;
  • je kunt je zowel mondeling als schriftelijk uitstekend uitdrukken in het Nederlands en Engels; en
  • je bent bij voorkeur zo snel mogelijk beschikbaar (een latere startdatum is bespreekbaar).
