Over de functie

In deze functie maak je deel uit van de sectie Commerciële Contracten. Het team staat onder leiding van Annelies van der Ploeg en Rieme-Jan Tjittes en bestaat uit jonge, enthousiaste advocaten met hoogwaardige expertise. Het opereert aan de top van de markt en houdt zich bezig met het opstellen en beoordelen van commerciële contracten, maar ook met procedures bij de overheidsrechter en in (internationale) arbitrages daarover.

Als senior advocaat-medewerker werk je in een ambitieus en vrolijk team binnen een veelzijdige praktijk. Je cliënten zijn (inter)nationale ondernemingen en gerenommeerde (inter)nationale advocatenkantoren. Je bent betrokken bij de volledige ‘life cycle’ van commerciële contracten. Daardoor krijg je de kans om te procederen, te adviseren, te onderhandelen en te ‘draften’. Kwaliteit en kennisdeling staan centraal en je werkt regelmatig samen met andere secties binnen kantoor.

In deze rol draag je bij aan de verdere uitbouw van de praktijk. Je bent een belangrijk aanspreekpunt voor cliënten en krijgt de ruimte om je werkzaamheden vorm te geven op basis van je expertise en interesses. Ondernemerschap wordt daarbij sterk aangemoedigd. Er zijn goede doorgroeimogelijkheden.

BarentsKrans is een onafhankelijk, Nederlands advocaten- en notarissenkantoor. Met ruim 170 kantoorgenoten werken wij aan mooie juridische uitdagingen, zowel nationaal als internationaal. Wij hebben een vestiging in het centrum van Den Haag en op de Zuidas in Amsterdam. Ons kantoor bestaat uit de volgende secties: Arbeidsrecht, Banking & Finance, Cassatie, Commerciële Contracten, Corporate, Commercial & Financial Litigation, Corporate / M&A, EU & Mededinging, IE, Data & Technologie en Vastgoed.

Jouw profiel

  • je bent een nieuwsgierig en ‘no nonsense’ persoon;
  • je bent serieus in je werk, maar neemt jezelf niet overdreven serieus;
  • je werkt met een grote mate van zelfstandigheid;
  • je hebt ervaring met het adviseren en/of procederen over commerciële contracten;
  • je hebt minimaal zes jaar werkervaring als advocaat (in opleiding), eventueel aangevuld met werkervaring als bedrijfsjurist;
  • je hebt stevige (basis)kennis van het contractenrecht en de bereidheid die verder te vergroten;
  • je kunt je zowel mondeling als schriftelijk uitstekend uitdrukken in het Nederlands en Engels; en
  • je bent bij voorkeur zo snel mogelijk beschikbaar (een latere startdatum is bespreekbaar).

Ons aanbod

  • werken in het topteam commerciële contracten met de mogelijkheid superspecialist te worden;
  • een volgende stap in je carrière als ervaren advocaat bij een groot en professioneel kantoor met een goede reputatie en hoge rankings (o.a. Legal 500 en Chambers);

  • de mogelijkheid om op onze locatie in Den Haag en/of in Amsterdam te werken;
  • een goed salaris van min. € 9.401,- en max. € 10.682,- bruto per maand op fulltime basis afhankelijk van je werkervaring, kennis en competenties, eventueel aangevuld met een variabele- en prestatiebonus; en
  • een additionele flexbeloning, 8% vakantiegeld, minimaal 28 vakantiedagen op fulltime basis, een goede pensioenregeling, de mogelijkheid om je aan te sluiten bij onze collectieve zorgverzekering, een laptop en iPhone en een volledige ov-reiskostenvergoeding.
