The posting

Of the 10 million Americans struggling with opioid misuse, only 1 in 10 receive treatment. This is an accessibility crisis, and we are on a mission to solve it by bringing life-saving care to the 89% currently left behind. Through a single app, Bicycle Health combines Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) with behavioral healthcare, drug screening, therapy, and peer support.

Bicycle Health is seeking a Regional Vice President, Sales - Provider & Health Systems to drive regional adoption of Bicycle Health’s virtual services for substance use disorder across a defined set of hospitals and health systems. This role will bring a consultative, value-based sales approach to building strategic health systems relationships, expanding market presence, and positioning Bicycle Health as a differentiated virtual substance use disorder treatment solution.

Target Pay Range: $150,000 base salary + Commission + Equity - Compensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Why Bicycle Health:

  • Discretionary PTO + 8.5 days of additional sick time + 10 paid holidays
  • 100% Remote role - work from anywhere in the United States
  • Employee Assistance Program through Magellan Health
  • 100% Employer Paid Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Paid parental leave
  • Employer Paid STD & LTD
  • 401(k)
  • $50 monthly Remote Work Stipend
  • Access to LinkedIn Learning
  • All equipment provided

What you'll do:

  • Drive Regional Commercial Growth: Set and execute the regional strategy to expand market presence across IDNs, academic medical centers, regional hospital systems, and affiliated physician networks.
  • Lead Enterprise Sales Cycles: Own the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to close—navigating multi-stakeholder health system buying processes, contract negotiations, and workflow integration scoping.
  • Engage Executive Leadership: Cultivate strategic relationships with C-suite and VP-level clinical and operational leaders (CMOs, VPs of Population Health, Behavioral Health directors, and ED chairs).
  • Deliver Value-Based Business Cases: Translate Bicycle Health’s clinical and retention outcomes into compelling ROI narratives focused on ED diversion, 30-day readmissions, and value-based care/ACO performance.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with internal Health Plan Sales, Clinical Operations, Community Engagement, Product, and Client Success teams to ensure seamless implementation and feed market insights back into corporate strategy.
  • Pipeline & Forecasting Rigor: Maintain disciplined CRM management (HubSpot) to deliver reliable forecasting, competitive analysis, and performance tracking against regional revenue goals.

What makes this role unique:

This role sits at the intersection of enterprise health system strategy and clinical intervention. As RVP of Sales, Provider & Health Systems, you will partner directly with hospital C-suites, CMOs, and clinical department chairs to deploy an evidence-based virtual clinic for opioid and substance use disorder—solving one of the biggest operational crises in acute care today: ED overutilization, post-discharge drop-off, and behavioral health access shortages.

What we are looking for:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive B2B healthcare sales experience, with at least 5 years focused on direct sales to health systems, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), and hospital networks.
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ), with the ability to read the room, adapt to complex situations, and focus on strategic outcomes rather than selling features.
  • Proven track record as a top-performing individual contributor closing complex, enterprise-level digital health, behavioral health, or virtual care contracts.
  • Deep understanding of health system reimbursement models, including fee-for-service, value-based care, ACO/shared-savings risk arrangements, and regional payer mix dynamics.
  • Proven track record of sourcing, contracting, and growing high-performance partnerships with health systems and hospitals.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to present ROI models, total cost-of-care analyses, readmission avoidance metrics, and clinical outcomes to C-suite health system executives (CMOs, CFOs, Chief Strategy Officers).
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills—comfortable engaging and building trust with CMOs, CFOs, VPs of Population Health, and Emergency/Behavioral Health service line leaders.
  • Experience selling the value of technology-enabled services while linking clinical efficacy to hospital quality metrics, ACO performance measures, ED throughput, and relevant behavioral health quality standards (e.g., FUA, IET).
  • Strong technical fluency in CRM platforms (specifically HubSpot), standard sales productivity tools, and value-selling frameworks.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% within the assigned region and to trade shows and conferences.
  • Demonstrates agility in a fast-paced virtual environment, and the ability to multi-task, start-stop-start projects, balance competing priorities, back-to-back meeting schedules, and frequent process adjustments while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred:

  • Experience selling telehealth solutions, substance use disorder solutions, behavioral health or broader specialty care sales.
  • Existing relationships with health systems and hospital networks.
  • Background in digital health, virtual care, or population health management.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
