  • Maintain, update, and analyze acquisition forecasts covering current and future contract efforts, milestones, and key decision points
  • Identify acquisition forecast disconnects, deficiencies, schedule risks, and other issues and provide recommendations for resolution
  • Incorporate force design, operational imperatives, combatant command integrated priority lists, and future force-shaping inputs into acquisition planning and recommendations
  • Support development, review, coordination, and execution of acquisition strategies and related acquisition documentation
  • Support acquisition planning and requirements development across the system life cycle
  • Advise Government leadership on cost, schedule, performance, and acquisition tradeoffs
  • Support program management reviews, leadership engagements, and other high-visibility acquisition activities
  • Prepare and coordinate acquisition briefings, reports, analyses, decision materials, and executive-level correspondence
  • Support high-visibility engagements and taskers, including activities involving senior Government leadership and congressional-level engagements
  • Coordinate acquisition-related activities with internal SSC organizations, mission partners, and external stakeholders
  • Support integrated product teams, working groups, and other cross-functional acquisition forums
  • Assist with source-selection activities that are appropriate for contractor support, including development of acquisition documentation, source-selection plans, acquisition strategies, and proposal evaluation materials
  • Support acquisition and sustainment activities throughout the program life cycle, including planning, development, execution, transition, and sustainment
  • Provide timely acquisition analysis, recommendations, briefings, reports, and other products in support of Government decision-making

Qualifications

  • Active DoW Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI)
  • MA/MS degree from an accredited college or university
  • 20 years of relevant experience, including significant experience supporting space programs
  • PMT 4010 Certificate (or predecessor course), demonstrating qualification to support DoD ACAT I and II acquisition programs

  • Proficiency with DoD acquisition, cost, requirements, and reporting systems, including Cost and Requirements System (C&RS), MAR reporting software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Task Management Tool (TMT)
  • Experience supporting acquisition planning, program execution, requirements development, and coordination of complex Government programs
  • Experience integrating cost, schedule, performance, funding, contracting, and requirements information to support acquisition decisions
  • Experience developing and reviewing acquisition strategies, program documentation, briefings, reports, and executive-level decision materials
  • Experience coordinating across Government organizations, contractors, and mission partners to identify issues, assess impacts, develop recommendations, and coordinate resolution
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief senior Government leadership

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
